On Wednesday 17/11/2021, 2DA2 (1rail intermodal) is seen approaching the morning hackspot at Edinburgh road, Salisbury North (Adelaide) with CLP14-gwb101 in charge, plus gwa003 being hauled behind the fuel pod & crew van.
Typical of my luck this month, the sun was out for most of the time after rising until the bad stuff in the sky blocked it out at the wrong time, with the distant fireball shining 3 minutes after the train passing.

When I was in Tokyo, I had a great time out with Altus! He stayed with me here in Austin, and we were able to meet up for a fun time of photography out in Tokyo. That's one of the BEST things about having a blog, I must say! It gives me the chance to meet all kinds of nice people like YOU that extend gracious invitations for photography!
After dark, Altus took me to this cool restaurant. The manager was very nice and let us sit where we wanted and then a carte-blanche for taking photos. He asked if I would send him photos and if I charge... and I told him no... I do this stuff for fun! So, we have a smart and well-movied community here - who can tell me the name of this restaurant?

Chance up this marina while chasing the windmill.
Recce the location for potential shot and went back to location the next day to work on this area.
We had good time; photographing, enjoying the fresh seafood, picking seashells.

Near the Lost River area, this spot had several trailheads, which included the Appilachain Trail. I ended up losing my 10x Neutral Density filter here days before. I came back for better weather and a chance to hopefully find my lost filter along the same trail I was on... No luck :-(

New Christmas Livery Virgin train No. 91128 (Claus 91) is seen heading past Spittal at Berwick-Upon-Tweed
Working the 1S10 King's Cross - Edinburgh Waverly service.
The new livery came about when Virgin ran a nationwide competition in which school children got the chance to design a Christmas theme livery Train.
Virgin trains had such a huge response and two winners were picked Madeleine Deakin aged 11. with her Christmas theme train called Claus 91 which runs on the East Coast Main Line .
The other is Pendolino Train which is called Penguilino and was designed by Amber Maxfield aged 9 and runs on the West Coast Main Line.
Considering all the cool stuff that rolled through Alanson in the Michigan Northern era this is far from sharks or Alco's but for a multitude of reasons I hardly ever shot Michigan Northern in its heyday. In September 1983 this excursion made its way up the old MC/NYC line through Gaylord to the Mackinaw City and after letting the passengers spend a couple nights in the Straits area it returned southbound on the old PRR route through Petoskey. It was sort of a farewell to the Straits area for railroading as the tracks were soon coming out north of Cheboygan and Pellston. My Uncle who lived in Flint and often had taken the train north in an earlier era rode this and I was tasked with picking hime up Friday night and bringing him home to Trout Lake for the weekend and then getting him back on the train Sunday morning. The weather was pretty bad on Sunday but I followed the train south and shot it as far as Alanson where SEMTA 902 and 904 roll by the old station.

Amtrak P42 5 leads Lincoln Service 303 south through Lockport, IL, busting some more plow lines. Unfortunately grade crossing issues once again caused the train to go slow, but it still kicked up a decent amount of snow.

*On the outskirts of Gotham, the remaining Misfits have gathered- with Magpie and Human Magnet on a second honeymoon, Dekker in Arkham, Chancer and Chuck in hospital and Blake god knows where, only Jules and Len remain, outside of a plane. Suddenly a portal opens up, it's Mr Polka Dot Man, and with him Getaway Genius and three hooded men*
Len- Abner. Genius.
*Genius wimpers*
Abner- He wasn’t alone.
*Len spots the prisoners. He turns to Getaway Genius*
Len- The hell is this? You don’t get to bring friends
Genius- (shaken) They... are not my friends.
Abner- Don’t worry. No extra charge.
Len- And why would I want them?
Abner- They were after this one *he indicates Genius*. They work for the brat.
Len- ...The Arkham Moth?

*The prisoners kneel by the cargo door, handcuffed. Len grabs the first prisoner*
Len- So... what's up? Know any good jokes, it's going to be a long ride... Heh.
*The first prisoner says nothing*
Len- Look, the flight plan I just filed with ARGUS lists me, my men, and Genius here. But only one of you.
*Len opens the cargo door. Jules and Abner hang the first prisoner outside*
Len- First one to talk gets to stay on my aircraft! So... who hired you to nab Getaway Genius?
*Nothing.*
Len- shit... that was supposed to work... WHO WANTS TO TRY NEXT?!
*Jules grabs Hooded Man 2, hanging him out the door*
Len- TELL ME ABOUT THE ARKHAM MOTH! WHY DOES HE WEAR THE MASK?!
*The prisoner says nothing*
Len- LOT OF LOYALTY FOR A HIRED GUN!
Prisoner 3- Perhaps they're wondering why someone would shoot a man before throwing him out of an plane.
*Len turns to the Third Prisoner.*
Len- At least you can talk. Who are you?
Prisoner 3- It doesn't matter who I am. What matters is the plan.
*Len, wary, approaches the Third Prisoner- pulling off their hood, revealing The Arkham Moth*
AN- *Scoffs* No one cared who I was until I put on the mask.
Len- Theatrical, yeah. Say... if I pull this off, will you die?
AM- You're welcome to try!
Len-... Why do all this, eh? You’re young-
AM- Not by your standards...
*Jules stiffles a laugh*
Len-... Real mature. Was being caught part of your plan?
AM- Not really. Least of all by you. Still... we needed to know what he told Walker and I suppose this works.
Genius- Nothing! I told hin nothing!
Len- Why not just ask him?
AM- Yeah... that'd work.
Len- You have methods.
AM- Sure I do... but where's the fun in that?
*Jules looks out the window. The plane lurches*
Jules- Um, Len?
Len- *mock applause* Congratulations, you got yourselves caught. What’s the next
step of your master plan?
AM- Crashing this plane... With no survivors.
*Two men shoot through the windows, the other two attach grapples to the fuselage- hoists start to pull and the tail of the commuter plane is lifted, unnaturally. The Arkham Moth breaks free of their bonds, smacking Len in the face and grabbing Genius, much to his protest*
AM- Oh shut up!
Len- Fuck this. Krill!
*A portal opens and our trio exits. As they do so, the Arkham Moth attaches himself to a harness, still holding Genius. The larger plane drops the first plane which falls to the ground. Still strapped into the harness, the Arkham Moth is reeled up into the bigger plane but Genius starts fumbling with the harness*
AM- The hell are you doing?!
Genius- Let go of me!
AM- Now's not exactly the time to-!
*Finally the harness breaks and Getaway Genius plunges to the ground, landing with a thud, activating their jetpack, the Moth avoids the same fate*
AM- Oh. Problem solved?

Gar- That plane crashing to the ground? Yeah. I saw it.
Rigger- Hey! I can see my house from here!
Miranda- That's a motel Rigger.
Rigger- And?
The weather was not looking to good but chanced a trip out today to Portcothan with Simon.
The sky wasn't great but better than expected, so we ventured on, then the wind hit us.Also knocked my tripod over with camera & filters on board, just grabbed hold of it inches before kissing the wet sand. That was the fastest I have moved in a long while I'll tell you.
