These pictures of the eye glass chain show different views. The double byzantine chain is made with 5/32" nickel silver jumprings and clear faceted glass beads.

The Széchenyi Chain Bridge is a suspension bridge that spans the River Danube between Buda and Pest, the western and eastern sides of Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Designed by the English engineer William Tierney Clark, it was the first permanent bridge across the Danube in Budapest, and was opened in 1849.
It is anchored on the Pest side of the river to Széchenyi (formerly Roosevelt) Square, adjacent to the Gresham Palace and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and on the Buda side to Adam Clark Square, near the Zero Kilometer Stone and the lower end of the Castle Hill Funicular, leading to Buda Castle

Chained Necklace. This chainmaille necklace is 19" long and is a black artistic copper wire. The front of this necklace adorns a cherry quartz rectangle focal bead that measures 1 3/8" long and 1" wide. The cherry quartz bead is also wire wrapped in black wire and is flanked with corrugated bali beads. The chainmaille design in the front of the necklace has a scroll link pattern. The clasp is a hook type clasp to make it easy to wear.

I stopped to watch the divers at Avery Aquatic Center on the way to yet another Stanford basketball game. The temperature was in the mid-fifties, and the poor divers had to cycle in and out of the pool and the evening air. Brrrrrr. Because the chain link fence was in the way of the action, I spent a few minutes playing with focus, seeing what would happen if I focused on the links or on the action beyond.

Had a fun day snowboarding yesterday. Finally got to use my tire chains that I've carried around all Winter "Just In Case."

This gold and purple earring was made special for someone; I left the loop at the bottom empty because she's going to attach her own matching charm to the earring. :)
The chain is gold-colored copper, the earring posts are gold-colored metal, and the purple bead is glass.
