Craig yr Aderyn ( Bird Rock ) rising 258m above the valley of Dyffryn Dysynni not far from Llanfihangel y Pennant, Tywyn, Gwynedd. This hill is renowned for its bird population and is believed to be the only inland location of a breeding colony of Cormorants in Wales, it's also an important roosting site for several species. Its summit slopes is also the site of an Iron Age fort. This was taken from the ruins of the 13 century Welsh castle of Castell y Bere.
