I love these little birds. I was happy to stumble upon a little family of them recently. I'm not sure they were quite as excited to see me. They're cute little birds that happen to be formidable hunters who behave like birds of prey. They're known to impale their prey on anything spikey or thorny nearby. Not what you'd expect when you look at them.
