Ring-tailed Lemur

The Cadair Idris ridge taken from below Foel Ispri in early evening light. The summits from the extreme left to right are Gau Graig followed by the main summits of Mynydd Moel, Cadair Idris ( Pen y Gadair ) in sunlight and Cyfrwy the pointed top. The ridge continues westwards to Tyrrau Mawr and Craig y llyn out of picture. Below Mynydd Moel and extending towards Cadair Idris is the dark ridge of Mynydd y Gadair, further right in the image is Craig y Castell.

Enjoyed learning a bit of lightpainting.

Still have to find an ID for this bird.

San Leandro, Ca

I haven't been on Flickr a long time ><". I felt bad my only pics were crappy cell phone snaps so I moved to instagram where I felt is better for that. Annnyway maybe I'll lurk a little here again!

Cormorant and Great Blue Heron

Female jumping spider Phidippus Regius .

Skopje, (North) Macedonia.

Made with Helios 44M 58mm f2.8.

And gave a squirrel he'd been stalking a little break.

A view from the ruins of Castell y Bere in Llanfihangel-y-Pennant* near Tywyn, Gwynedd on a beautiful winter day earlier this year. Castell y Bere was probably begun in 1221 by Prince Llywelyn ab Iorwerth.

*Llanfihangel-y-Pennant meaning "church of Mihangel in Pennant", with Pennant meaning "head of a valley". If you see a place name in Wales beginning with "Llan" then it will have or had a church.

Near Shimbashi station. Tokyo, Japan.

I didn't get a great shot for a few reasons, one being it was so close to dark, and I needed a way too slow a shutter speed for the lens, but I was excited to see a new bird visiting. I nearly didn't see him. He was fast, tiny and sneaky, blending in with the tree in dim light. I have been so busy with some things, I haven't gotten to even go look for a while.

I am trying to look up the correct species. So far I'm having some trouble. It isn't one of the most common ones in my area, for sure.

Guanajuato, Mexico.

This may be my favorite Heron of the ones around here. I love the way the colors came out in this pic. It looks like a real life Beanie Boo. :)

ID is a guess, please don't take my word for it. :)

Made with Helios 44M 58mm f2.8. Unbelievable how sharp this lens is!

It's my first time to take a picture of dolls in the snow. If I had been thinking I would have extended her stand to let her stand on top of the snow but she just sank. There was a lot of snow ^^;. I fixed that on later photos (snow is so convenient for hiding the base of the stand :D). It's not too interesting but I loooove her hair.
