Welcome to Hell's finest condo community.
This night was the tail end of a heat wave, a situation that often produces the most interesting weather. Lightning flitted across the south side of the city for several hours, but none made it north to the Woodcroft neighbourhood.
The blood-red sunset did produce this second sunset nine minutes after sundown, echoing the red glow of the safety beacon. While it may appear normal, this is actually looking due east; the real sunset was over my left shoulder and can be seen reflected in the windows of the top floor.

first pseudo-studio shoot. He did great this time.
He did pee on me twice...but I guess he owed me that for hanging him several feet, just kidding (mom!) inches off of soft pillowy table/ground.
I've got to thank my father in law for holding up his brand new grandson in the air.

One of the many chipmunks who reside in (and under) the retaining wall in our front yard. We call this one (and pretty much all the others, too) Chippie.
I came to Paris at 6AM and went directly to Montmartre to have a cup of coffee on a top of the hill, to enjoy sunrise..
