So here it is, my finished display. I know I miss Operetta but she is whatever anyways. I am not even sure if I really want her, I guess I do since I'm a completist. Anyways, do you like it? :)
three cameras were involved in the making of this picture:
1. polaroid 600
2. kodak duaflex (for the ttv)
3. nikon d300
that was kinda fun! maybe someday i can try a picture that involves all my cameras...

歴史的なカメラは機械としての機能もそうですが、デザイン的にもとても美しいと感じました。
Film crew interviewing a young couple in St. Peters Square, Manchester, England. I have no idea what about?
Day 16/365 - Cameras and coffee are two of my favorite things. I recently started drinking my coffee black to save on the calories from the cream and sugar. Currently using a french press and looking for a favorite grind that tastes good black.
Here is the Mysterious Camera. I designed it in SketchUp and had it printed in black dyed SLS plastic (nylon) at Shapeways. It's powered by a spring made from a single length of music wire, and has a 40mm lens from American Science Surplus as its optic. It makes panoramic pictures on 35mm film about 22 perfs wide. This is revision #3. I've given one copy to a friend; he has just finished assembling it.
Here is a set of pictures from this camera.
Mk2 10X microscope lens camera setup.
Using EOS to M42 adapter £5, set of M42 extension tubes £10. M42 to RMS cone £20 and a cheapish Olympus 10X plan lens £28. All new either from Ebay or Amazon.
The narrow end makes it easier to rest the lens on my hand and get a reasonable angle on a potential subject on a surface
Leica R6.2 50/1.4 The camera is not important. I wanted to use lens. I think FM-10 is much stronger than R6.2.
This terrific article by Anthony Lane in a recent issue of the New Yorker has piqued my curiosity about the lovely Leica.
My photographer boss is the proud owner of this Leica, which he shoots with and swears by. I told him recently that I've been surprised by my own failure to steal it from him. He just leaves it out on the counter. Right there! Ready for the swiping! I'm a goddess of virtue for just picking it up, gazing longingly through the viewfinder and then putting it back down.
Shot half a standard 35mm frame. You got up to 72 shots per roll of film Great for vacations back in the day. Only drawback was that the view was always in portrait, not landscape orientation. Fine for photos of one person, but you tended to turn the camera sideways more often than a regular 35. Very small size, nice attention to details.
Anyone know what camera it is in the picture? Looks like it might be a Mamiya RB67 but I'm not sure. Either way, what a weirdly specific camera to use for this sign.

I have to trim my eyebrows...;P
BTW, before I changed films, I touched inside the film compartment trying to take off paper scaraps in the camera (but couldn't) , took a photo of myself, and then the outcome was the left pic...
Though not popular or particularly outstanding, I really like late 1950's Taron rangefinders. To me their design evokes the era in which they were made. Which also happens to be the era in which I was made. Brothers of very different mothers, perhaps.
This one is equipped with a 45mm f/2.8 Taronar lens. The camera is a recent eBay purchase that arrived with a few small mechanical surprises; some repairable, others . . . .

This was for a logo I designed. Check out the website of Photographer Leah LaRiccia. She takes some amazing and fun photographs!
Appears to be a derivative of an early 1960's Yashica film camera. The look is very similar to the Yashica "J" of 1961.
I do not know much about this camera other than that. Very little information is available on the web.
