Leidolf Wetzlar! This camera’s 50mm f/3.8 lens and apparent top shutter speed of 1/200 seems very limiting, which may be part of the reason Leidolf wasn’t around for very long. With only three shutter speeds (plus bulb), no light meter and no way to check focus, it must have been maddening to take good photos with this camera.

Two different takes on the same dress and location.

Lighting:

430EX through 50" umbrella camera right.

Gave the ISO a little lift to help the ambient fill to where I wanted it, this also helped keep power down on the speedlight.

The kind of love that I have for cameras is reserved only for cameras. I don't find it anywhere else and I don't want to.

I came in my room to find she had set up her library of books like this and was pretending to take pictures of them. I got the perfect shot.

Cleaned the rotting leather off this Wirgin Edinex in preparation for new skin. But, well . . . I kinda like the bare metal look. So I'm at a stopping point until I can decide. I welcome your suggestions/advice. (Hmm, how 'bout clear textured plastic?)

an action camera with cool features. always amazed with new technologies

I know this is not perfect.... but I like it for some reason. =)

My first digital camera, which I took apart a few years ago after it had totally died. The camera was released in 2000 and was a big 2 megapixels. Yep, 2. Here’s a review of the camera if you’re interested in taking a stroll down memory lane:

He is a blue tick coonhound mix, so we named him "Blue." Very original.

Cameras in a very dusty and smeared glass cabinet and the only lighting was the lamp you see reflected in the glass. Shot with Fujifilm x-t3 & 18-55mm f2.8-4 fujinon zoom lens.

My husband and I are collectors of old things, so I thought this topic would be an easy one. And yet it was nearly one of the last ones for me to do. I guess I was waiting to discover this little red toy camera in an antique shop this afternoon!

He was carrying a heavy camera on his shoulders and other equipment was hanging by is side. It would appear that he was about to film some news or documentary item along our Sea Walk area in West Vancouver, BC. The car marked CBC was parked just behind him and across the street from my apartment. I wonder why he and the script girl were filming along our sea walk in West Vancouver BC.
