As good as the picture?

For our first try, we were pretty impressed how they turned out.

Co. no-knead pizza dough, filled with ricotta, spinach, mushrooms, and caramelized onions and garlic.

Waiting for the kids to have lunch at the Love Shack. I must have ordered the worst thing on their menu - #28 Cordon Blow. The "blue cheese syrup" does not taste at all like bleu cheese. I see no reason to go back there in the near future.

I should have known something was up, because the village area was very crowded at lunchtime, but there was only one other party in the Shack.

David gets down to business. Stolarski got one later on that had a whole hot dog shoved up in the middle. Odd...

After we landed in Nashville Friday night, we met Ian and Megan for dinner and drinks at Bosco's. Pretty darn good if you ask me...

Delicious and cheap! :) (via Foodspotting)

home made food, Calzone, pizza

Filled with mud cake, dark and white chocolate, marshmallows and cherries.

Mushroom and spinach calzone.

Would have probably been a lot better if I'd not left the dough to rise in a very hot oven.

Score: 2/5.

Calzone ready to go in oven

The Caldecott Calzone from Andolini's Pizzeria in Tulsa, OK is twice as big as my head and tastes amazing! They also have a vegan pizza and a vegan veggie pasta on the menu. — at Andolini's Pizzeria.

The calzone was stuffed with tapenade (black olive pate) tomatoes, mozarella and I can't remember what else!

This was at an Italian restaurant in Morgan Hill, CA. (October 27, 2007)
