A pale yellow.
The genus named after the Swedish baron Alströmer who brought them back from a trip to South America in 1753. Also called the Peruvian Lily or Inca Lily, is a South American genus of about 50 species of flowering plants.
Almost all of the species are restricted to one of two distinct centres of diversity, one in central Chile, the other in eastern Brazil.
Species of Alstroemeria from the Atacama Desert of Chile are winter-growing plants while those of Brazil are summer-growing.
The flower, which resembles a miniature lily, is very popular for bouquets and flower arrangements in the commercial cut flower trade.
They have a vase life of about two weeks.

A westbound BNSF unit grain train flows downhill through the multiple curves descending into the small rural community of Caliente set at the foot of the Transverse mountain range.
The streets of Washington overflowed with celebrations last night and warm and happy winds of change are blowing in Washington today! At the base of Capitol Hill lies the U.S. Botanical Garden's Bartholdi Park, which has become a demonstration garden, complete with some varieties of peppers (ornamental and others) as well as many kinds of flowers for home planting.
An eastbound general merchandise freight climbing the 2.1% grade meets a westbound Z train headed for Lathrop at the west end of Bealville siding.
With vibrant green hillsides and picturesque bright blue skies, the Tehachapi mountains take on an almost park like setting for this Stockton, California to Willow Springs, Illinois Z train approaching the east end of Bealville siding.
Three General Electric six-axle units on the head end of Z STOWSP8 23A approach Allard Horseshoe set against a vibrant backdrop of green which will convert into the golden hillsides the Tehachapi mountains are more commonly known for.
