Agua Caliente, literally meaning hot water, is a unique 101-acre park with a perennial warm spring. An artificial stream links together three ponds within the park. The ponds are fed by the spring water and support diverse wildlife and fish populations. The spring flow fluctuates during the year—at various times, due to drought, visitors may see the lower ponds dry. Human habitation has been found to date back about 5,500 years. The site makes for a perfect place for a picnic or day hike.
Agua Caliente Park is located on the far east side of Tucson. Agua Caliente Park has a long and interesting history behind it. In 1873, a ranch and health resort was developed to promote the curative properties of the warm springs.

Five tunnel motors are on the point of an oil train as it starts the grueling climb to Tehachapi at Caliente, California. 48 cars back are mid-train helpers, with another 24 cars and a caboose behind them.

Flowers in the house and garden help against depression I just read!
A pale yellow.
The genus named after the Swedish baron Alströmer who brought them back from a trip to South America in 1753. Also called the Peruvian Lily or Inca Lily, is a South American genus of about 50 species of flowering plants.
Almost all of the species are restricted to one of two distinct centres of diversity, one in central Chile, the other in eastern Brazil.
Species of Alstroemeria from the Atacama Desert of Chile are winter-growing plants while those of Brazil are summer-growing.
The flower, which resembles a miniature lily, is very popular for bouquets and flower arrangements in the commercial cut flower trade.
They have a vase life of about two weeks.

The streets of Washington overflowed with celebrations last night and warm and happy winds of change are blowing in Washington today! On sunny Sunday afternoon, three GE ES44ACs climb the ridge between Caliente and tunnel 1 with an eastbound stack headed for Willow Springs, Illinois.
After meeting both 2nd and 1st #199's in the siding here, 4 Santa Fe warbonnets start a heavy intermodal up through the horseshoe at Caliente on November 1, 1991.
The westbound the crew aboard X-FRSPIL9-26K have been waiting on can seen descending into Caliente as another busy morning on “the hill” gets underway.
A northbound UP Z train finds a sucker hole of sunlight enough to light the whole train as it makes its way around Allard Horseshoe and down the hill towards Bakersfield.
The morning sun was still creeping above the ridge as Union Pacific SD70ACe 9810 roared through Bealville siding with an eastbound general merchandise freight.
UP 8829 leads an eastbound Union Pacific manifest up Tehachapi Pass at the first of many horseshoe curves in Caliente.
A westbound BNSF Z train rounds downhill on their way through Caliente, California, headed down the Tehachapis towards Bakersfield
5481, 8118 and 5036 along with distributed power units 5178 and 5358 on the rear, lead a BNSF train upgrade from Caliente and into Tunnel 2. All units are GE C44-9Ws, aside from 8118 (GE ES44C4).
