Arif's excercise equipment arrived and he's been having a ball ever since.

Assignment 1. High key. The "key" of an image describes the nature of the tones presented. In a High key image most of the tones will be brighter than middle gray. Bright background, bright subject, and the dark tones take on a supernatural power to highlight what you want to show.

And while this isn't my wide angle photo, it is a wide angle photo.

cwd 623- Abstract

Whoa...this picture is making me a little dizzy.

cwd492: High Key/Low Key Diptych - We did High Key in Week 15, Low Key in Week 23, and Diptych in Week 20. For Week 49, let's combine all three to create a diptych with one high key photo and one low key photo.

I've been wanting to try this stir-fry place that recently opened downtown. It was really good and a great opportunity to capture the logo.

cwd912 - Money Photograph money. Make it interesting.

The stock market has caused many retirement accounts to dwindle and the values are shrinking.

Hope you like my take on the assignment.

Playing around with various positions and angles. I was actually trying to capture the leaf in the foreground but ended up with this shot of my welcome mat, which I kind of love for some reason and then realized that it was a great shot for pet's eye view.

This assignment reminded me a lot of Marcel the Shell with Shoes on video, which I adore, so it was a lot of fun!

selenite spheres standing on changing light...

experimenting for cwd202: Spheres - This one is going to be difficult. It probably won't be too hard to find something spherical to photograph, but your job is to somehow make it interesting. No points for cleverness...the thing you photograph should actually LOOK like a sphere in the photo (i.e. don't shoot the ground and say the Earth is a sphere; don't shoot the sun or the moon which look like circles). Also, no eyeballs.

This is my third photo for the Class with Dave : The Audit Group (cwd:tag). Your challenge : justice

This is the law building at the University of Queensland, also known as the "Forgan Smith". Built of solid sandstone, this pillar of strength is where our future law makers apply their trade, it is place of light, liberty and of learning.

Week 73, Assignment 1: High Key

This was a little break in the clouds before the rain settles in tonight. I like the sun rays streaming through the clouds; I couldn't wait to get home tonight to take some shots! Done for Take A Class With Dave for the "sky" category.

cwd2011 ~ Self Portrait Cut-Out.

Shot for A Class with Dave : Something beginning with J (rejected)

experimenting for cwd181: Technology - It's a huge part of our lives...it's everywhere. But can you make an interesting image based on it? Snapshots of iPods laying on the kitchen table probably don't cut it.
