Justice. It means so many things to so many people. Express the concept of Justice to all of us; surely we are your jury.

This is the city court in Copenhagen built in 1815. The inscription says (my rough translation):

"A country shall be built with law"

Thought of getting it with omnious clouds behind it, but then the sun was shining, so today justice is good...

cwd2231 ~ One Egg, Four ways Take an egg, look for a good background with plenty of light. Once you set the egg down, take four images showing how the light can differ in the same spot. Take your four shots and create a quadtych (that may not be a real word, but create one image featuring all four shots) and upload the one image to the group pool. The rule is that you are not allowed to move the egg after taking your first shot.

I was down in Milwaukee this weekend and loved the sailboats, especially the reflection in the water.

Taken at 50 mph in the pouring rain on a busy highway. Fun! This seems a bit of a departure from my normal style, but I guess that's what this project is about, eh?

cwd532 - Roads: Many of us drive on them every day. Can you take an interesting photograph of one?

Project wingman is the Air Force Suicide Prevention initiative. It has been determined that airmen returning from the warzones are at a much greater risk for suicide than the general population. Project Wingman aims to educate all the people around these servicemen how to look for and prevent suicide through the techniques of ACE (Ask, Care, Escort) or the more intensive Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training. From the Project wingman website:

“The goal of the Wingman Project is to eliminate Warfighter and family member suicide through human outreach, media and training.”

Take a class with Dave and Dave can help get the word out by creating the images that go with these posters. We can create the media. Please create an 8 X 12 300dpi image that can fit in these posters. Your image should include text expressing a concept that these people are not alone, we are their wingman.

Assignment 2. Surveillance

this was such a great assignment, i made my husband help, he threw the cherry into the glass, many many times, it was so great, and it was really the first shot that i loved best!!

cwd263 - Texture

Not the original shot I wanted to do for texture, but I figured with the adventures I've had for the past week, it was appropriate.

cwd 2802 ~ Landmark.

Arif's excercise equipment arrived and he's been having a ball ever since.

Assignment 1. High key. The "key" of an image describes the nature of the tones presented. In a High key image most of the tones will be brighter than middle gray. Bright background, bright subject, and the dark tones take on a supernatural power to highlight what you want to show.

Whoa...this picture is making me a little dizzy.

cwd492: High Key/Low Key Diptych - We did High Key in Week 15, Low Key in Week 23, and Diptych in Week 20. For Week 49, let's combine all three to create a diptych with one high key photo and one low key photo.

I've been wanting to try this stir-fry place that recently opened downtown. It was really good and a great opportunity to capture the logo.
