The CSX 'Safety' bay window caboose in the brick. I wanted to try some brick tiger striping 'cuz it shows up a lot in trains. My wife calls this one the circus caboose so maybe i'm not successful with the striping. It turns out to use about 100 yellow and blue 1x1 plates, but that was to be expected. It's got 2 different railings so i'll just call that bit still a WIP, but I like them both.

CSX train Q301 passes my MP QA 11 on the CSX Trenton Sub, with visibility poor, and snow heavy. The camera wanted nothing to do with focusing.
A CSX AC6000 sits in the GE yard in Erie as it waits to undergo emissions testing.

CSX Train Q031 rolls west passing SEPTA's Cheltenham Station to the left, and what remains os the fall colors. While this view leads us to believe this is the old dedicated Tropicana Juice train, don't be fooled, as there's plenty of intermodal on the backend of the train.
IN 2005 a southbound CSX Q535 train crosses over the embargoed tracks of the CSX Cordova Branch at Aulon Junction in Memphis. Even though it had been several years since a train has passed on these former NC&StL tracks, the signal is still brightly lit red for the crossing.
CSX M384-14 has Adirondack Scenic Railroad 430 an Ex Western New York & Pennsylvania (WNY&P) C430 trailing 2nd with CSX 4711 Flared Mac as a DPU headed eastbound through Clyde NY bound for Selkirk NY 4-14-25.
A CSX SD40-2 leads two more SD40s on a K635 ethanol to CP past a CN B790 Potash train in Blue Island, IL. These old EMDs are still considered road power by CSX standards, which makes for some interesting lashups.
CSX M363-06 has CSX 1714 ET23 trailing 3rd headed westbound through Clyde NY bound for Avon IN 4-6-24.
CSX #116 leading the northbound Roadrailer train at Falmouth, KY. June 1988. While we were waiting for this train to arrive, we noticed some guys working on the tank car on the siding in the background. Dome open, liquid on the ground. Nothing unusual about that, but the car is in a fuel storage facility, and the guys were smoking! . If we hadn't been so intent of getting a shot of this train, we would have moved on! A CSX local freight is seen on the B&OCT's Cicero Branch adjacent to the BRC (out of view to the left). In this view, the connection track to the MJ continues straight ahead , while the Cicero Branch curves to the right.

CSX's Q314 clears the interlocking at "CP State Line" which is on the State line between Indiana and Illinois. It is located just West of Hammond, Indiana. just a short 5 minute walk from the Chicago South Shore line. On the other side of this CSXT movement is Norfolk Southern's Burnham Yard the track leading out from the camera is Ex-NKP "Nickel Plate" and the track CSX is on is former B&O (B&OCT) Baltimore and Ohio Chicago Terminal. Rich Hill 8/28/2012 Hammond, Indiana and the power on the CSX train is AC4400's I don't know exactly and could care less...

I took many shots here. I was taken by the perfect blend of fall color and an overall softness. The train seemed an incindental addition to the scene.
A local from Fostoria heads toward Upper Sandusky.
The pole line is so far from the tracks it makes me think this might have been double-track at one time.
