U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Buffalo District team members visited the Charter School for Applied Technologies today to assist the student with their projects in the New York State competition called Science Olympiad, Dec. 12, 2012.
Project areas focused on were structural engineering and map analysis. Corps team members will continue to support CSAT students until their competition in February 2012.

Hajongard cemetery (Central Cemetery, from German Hasengarten), on Avram Iancu Street, is one of the oldest cemeteries in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, founded in the sixteenth century. It is one of the most picturesque sights of the city. It covers an area of ca. 14 hectares. We visited famous tombs here in May 2015, on our way home from a trip to Transylvania with friends.
A Házsongárdi temető Kolozsvár történelmi temetőkertje, melynek bejárata a Petőfi utcából nyílik. A sokévszázados magyar írásbeliség nagyjainak nyugvóhelye, vallásra és nemzetiségre tekintet nélkül temetkeztek ide magyarok, románok, szászok az évszázadok folyamán. Ritka szép fekvése, dús növényzete, monumentális emlékművei már a 19. század végén híressé tették. Erdélyi kirándulásunkról hazafelé látogattuk meg a híres sírokat a temetőben barátaimmal 2015. májusában.
1862-ben Csöbönyei József zarándoknak, aki itt élt egy maga ásta gödörben, jelentette meg Gábriel arkangyal, hogy másnap Mária személyesen jelenik meg, és kijelöli a kápolna helyét.
