Aka Island, Okinawa, Japan
Aka Island belongs to the Kerama Island group which is known for some of the world's clearest waters with 50-60m visibility.
The islands of Okinawa Prefecture including the Kerama Islands are known as one of the world's best diving destinations, having a number of coral species and marine life as large as those in the Great Barrier Reef. Over 400 types of corals, 5 types of sea turtles, manta rays, whale sharks and many kinds of tropical fish species all live around the islands of Okinawa Prefecture.

Westbound Q393 cuts through the rural community of Standley on a chilly evening. There's just enough snow on the ground to nicely accentuate the orange on the three GE's.
This bad boy was rising early in the evening, when Sam came and told to bring out the camera. I slapped the teleconverter on and the rest is digital history.
No freezing rain in Leith during the big storm, but apparently some stuck around us. This was taken on my way to Keady on Christmas Eve.

Indian Head Cove in Bruce Peninsula National Park is one of the most photogenic places in Ontario I know. It lies on the edge of the Niagara Escarpment. The water depth quickly drops to 60 m and reaches a maximum depth of 165 m. Prevailing offshore winds and local currents cause upwelling of cold water from below. These factors make the water crystal clear. Over the escarpment limestone, it takes on a stunning range of blue shades beginning with palest aqua close to shore.
Indian Head Cove and the nearby Grotto are so popular you must make reservations for parking and a time slot to hike from Cyprus Lake Campground.
