365/6 Moments 2012 Now and then things really are crystal clear. It just so happens that it isn't often!

Digging up more old stuff and re-editing now that I've learned more.

Indian Head Cove in Bruce Peninsula National Park is one of the most photogenic places in Ontario I know. It lies on the edge of the Niagara Escarpment. The water depth quickly drops to 60 m and reaches a maximum depth of 165 m. Prevailing offshore winds and local currents cause upwelling of cold water from below. These factors make the water crystal clear. Over the escarpment limestone, it takes on a stunning range of blue shades beginning with palest aqua close to shore.

Indian Head Cove and the nearby Grotto are so popular you must make reservations for parking and a time slot to hike from Cyprus Lake Campground.

Thank you to everyone who visits, faves, and comments.

Out doing errands but should have been wandering the hills. Funny how that 5 hour walk up looks so minimal in the phone’s wide angle lens.

Koh Lipe is the southernmost island of Thailand in the Andaman Sea. It is part of the Adang-Rawi archipelago. This archipelago forms, together with the Tarutao archipelago, the National Park Koh Tarutao. The Chao Lay live on the island. This is a tribe that lives mainly on the islands in the Andaman Sea. Although Koh Lipe is part of a national park, the inhabitants are only allowed to develop part of the island for tourism. All other islands is prohibit. On the car-free island there are a few narrow roads that connect the beaches, because that is what it is all about: enjoying the sun, sea and beach. The seawater is emerald green-blue and crystal clear. The island is surrounded by a beautiful coral reef with numerous beautiful tropical fish. With the longtail boat you sail to the most beautiful and best snorkling spots in the area. That it is a National Park means that the entire island is protected area. This is not for nothing, because nature here is really beautiful. Twenty years ago I had been here with my wife, together with our daughter back again. See photo from 1998.

Koh Lipe is a small island in the Southern part of the Thai Andaman Sea. It is famous for it's white sandy beaches, crystal clear water and bountyful marine life. The main transport hub for Koh Lipe is Pak Bara with daily speedboats boats running all year. This cluster of islands is part of the much larger Tarutao National Marine Park, a nature reserve established in 1974 as Thailand’s second National Park. It consists of about 50 islands and covers 1500 km². We visit Koh Lipe in the low season for peaceful, romantic walks along the deserted beach under the moonlight. Low season with rain but we had some holiday luck ;-) Photo taken at Sunset beach on Koh Lipe. View on Koh Butang, Koh Rawi and Koh Adang on the right side.

Turkey - September 2019 - Green canyon

Your full-day excursion begins in the morning with a visit to the region's largest market in bustling Manavgat, a paradise for bargain hunters. After that, you'll take a wonderful boat trip on the fjord-like reservoir, which placidly meanders through a spectacular canyon. The crystal clear water shimmers in mesmerising green and turquoise nuances, depending on the depth, and offers a perfect opportunity for a refreshing dip.

Light from our dining room window lit up this crystal vase and caught my eye

Crystal clear water makes the Marina Grande a beautiful place to visit along the Isle of Capri.

Marina Grande is the main port of the island of Capri, to the north of the main town of Capri and at the foot of Mount Solaro.

All the best on your Epic Hero's Journey from Johnny Ranger McCoy!

Modeling the black & gold "Gold 45 Revolver" Gold'N'Virtue swimsuits with the main equation to Moving Dimensions Theory on the swimsuits: dx4/dt=ic. Yes I have a Ph.D. in physics! :) You can read more about my research and Hero's Journey Physics here:

herosjourneyphysics.wordpress.com/ MDT PROOF#2: Einstein (1912 Man. on Rel.) and Minkowski wrote x4=ict. Ergo dx4/dt=ic--the foundational equation of all time and motion which is on all the shirts and swimsuits. Every photon that hits my Nikon D800e's sensor does it by surfing the fourth expanding dimension, which is moving at c relative to the three spatial dimensions, or dx4/dt=ic!

Best on your hero's journey from Johnny Ranger McCoy! :)

Falling in love with the full frame 36 megapixel e mount Sony A7R!

The books behind the pretty goddess on the Malbu bluff and surfboard are The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire by Edward Gibbon, Homer's Iliad, Homer's Odyssey, Shakespeare, and Herman Melville's Moby Dick! My favorite books! Will have some video of the pretty model reading them beside a campfire soon.

They're all collectors editions! My books cost as much as my surfboards! :)

An old, sere leaf with a tiny, little drop of crystal clear water on top. Taken 23rd January 2010.

Just wanted to add, that the wallpaper version of this picture is available on my homepage www.DominicKamp.de

The water was crystal clear and the clouds made wonderful shapes in the sky!

This is my favorite secret lake located near Whistler, BC, Canada. This lake is about two hours drive from Vancouver, and it is surrounded by high mountains that are usually covered in snow. My wife and I spent three days boating around this lake exploring every little cove and bay. It was an unforgettable trip. Nothing but the sound of silence.

And now....holidays are over and it is back to work on Monday. Stress, email, Blackberry, meetings, expectations, commitments, schedules, timelines, deadlines and overtime. When I am in the heat of battle, I will think back to the still, quiet memories of this lake.
