The water flowing in this part of the world (and there is a lot of it) is some of the purist I've ever seen...cold, clear and refreshing, it is the elixir of the Gods...

Våtedalen, or the wet valley, is the name of this place... Steep mountains, a place for avalanches and wet! Not the place you would live!

The government local was a little tardy this AM which allowed me to get in position for a drone shot form the comforts of inside my vehicle. The thermometer read -9 when the bird was put in the air for this shot and the wind chill was south of -30.

This shot is in between Eudora and De Soto just east of the intermediate signal at MP 16.7. Nice of them to get the trees cleared off the ROW here.

Crystal clear skies were abound this AM but the trains were not. Broken rails and trains setting out bad orders really slowed things down and eventually the clouds showed up. Final tally was 3.

The water within and around Peschiera del Garda was spectacularly clear. I loved the deep blue finish on the hull of this boat against the teal of the water and pinks of flowers in containers on railings.

Reflections captured in a quiet, crystal-clear pool of the Cache la Poudre River. Photographed September 26, 2016 by the Cache la Poudre River in the Poudre River Canyon, west of Fort Collins, Colorado.

The crystal clear waters of one of our large southern lakes. This was the scene for protesters once to save the lake being raised for hydro-electricity. In the end they generated power through a tunnel to the sea without losing the beautiful islands.

I've had enough sun for this summer. Been hiding under a sunhat most days.

Hope you are all well.

This is the Ligurian sea: crystal clear water!

This shot wasn't taken in a unfrequented bay, but in Nervi, Genoa.

Do you like this?

Absolutely no Ps correction, only crop&frame. Colours and clarity are real.

It seems the Mayan's were also about location, location, location. The ruins in Tulum, Mexico, are spectacularly located over looking the crystal clear Caribbean Sea.

I framed this shot in-between two rocks with my 55-200mm and I love the multiple layers of trees surrounding the reservoir. I was disappointed by the disappearance of the Autumnal colours but I still like the image. Im not sure whether of not I like the blurred rocks in the foreground.

The crystal clear water was breathtaking @ Plitvice lakes Croatia '18

While snowshoeing up at Mount Rainier national park the sun began to set just as the snow stopped falling and the air became crystal clear. There was an eerie stillness in the evergreen trees as we witnessed this brilliant light show in the final hour of the day.
