Crib Goch, the summit in the foreground, with the highest peak in Wales & England, Snowdon, in the background.
Another image from Sunday’s outing in Snowdonia. I much prefer the processing on this image to the others. Slowly learning!
This old corn crib, which has obviously seen better days, probably hasn't been used for its intended purpose in many years. Found near the western end of the Galien-Buchanan Road in Weesaw Township, Berrien County, Michigan.

Part of Crib Coch in the Snowdonia National Park, Wales, UK.
5 shot handheld panorama stitched together in PS. Slight crop in LR.
Taken for Week 24 in the Project 52 - 2017 group with a theme of 'Panoramic'
Having been in the area numerous times in the past, we returned for a longer stay this spring. Exploring Prince Edward County on a rainy day.
For those keen to see how the crib from the Baby Blues MOC was made.
Please read the warning at the bottom of the instructions page before attempting to do this yourself!
Two days before the Sun gave me wonderful light then this November storm came rushing through, which was perfect to match this corn crib's stormy past.
Taken from half way up Carnedd Ugain I wanted to capture an image that shows the views either side of the famous Crib Goch ridge.
The lake on the right side is about 500m below where this shot was taken. This route is not for the faint hearted but well worth the challenge and the views!

crib and auger on what used to be the family farm. this photograph is part of a series I put together for my grandmother after my grandfather passed away.
after my father was unable to farm my grandparents moved into town and I always sensed that they both longed to be back out in the country - after he passed, I put two sets of photos together of each farm that was in the family at the time. one set was black and white, the other on expired grainy color film. now as time has moved us along there is no family farm. memories and photographs.

This Crib is made totally out of icing fondant.
The crib was inspired by the amazing work of Quaintcake’s.
I was asked to copy one of her cakes but told the customer I preferred not to out of courtesy to Quaintcakes.
So I agreed to make a similar cot to place on top of a cake.
If you have not already seen Quaintcakes work, do yourself & favour & have a look.
Totally fabulous.
Crawled up to the ridge below Glyder Fach last night. Cold at the top was an understatement, my water bottle froze, I was wearing 2 puffer jackets, full waterproofs and 3 hats. Worth it though for the 20 minutes of light that lit up Snowdon, Crib Goch and y Lliwedd. Spectacular.

This was the first crossing of Crib Goch for the Mrs and although slightly nervous of the drops either side she did fantastic.
Despite the traverse having a bit of a reputation for injuries, rescues and worst of all attracting the attention under-equipped and under-experienced 'tourists' the route linked into the Snowdon Horseshoe is an incredible day out and probably one of my favorite walks in Snowdonia.

The Crib in Duluth has withstood the waves since the 1920s. Two ships are anchored in the background.

A 115 second exposure that I took today in Duluth. A really small (1' and under) swell blurred the water. The clouds weren't moving as fast as I wanted, but I lucked out with the two ships on the horizon. I added saturation -- just because.
Explored!
I took the Canon 24mm T&S lens along to try a three frame panoramic. It was a bit tricky in the wind and with cold fingers ;-)
On December I visited a Cribs Exibition in the Arena of Verona.
I found this XVIII Century Neapolitan Style Crib very nice.
Many thanks to everyone who will pass by visiting my shots. Comments are appreciated. You are welcome. Sergio

There are a couple of problems of photographing Crib Goch alone (it was a spur off the moment decision to hike that day).
Firstly you have to decide when it is safe to abandon your hold on the rock to take your pictures and then secondly you have no pal to capture to better show the situation. Being a day of poor weather there were also very few others up on the ridge to include in my photos. Instead I have had to make do with a simple shot of a section of the ridge engulfed in cloud.
