Let's all go to Ezra's house and have our laundry washed!
A charming scene but does look like a lot of work. Remember when your Mom or grandparents got their first dryer!
Having discovered a large, densely populated area of Canada Anemone much closer to home, I've made several visits while they are at peak condition. A chaos of blossoms abound.
Meant as a documentary shot to establish density and habitat.

This is the third piece in the series I am calling Community. This work is in response to the Covid-19 pandemic and continues my experiences in the seniors photography workshop where we are looking at the communities in which we live. We are working towards a group project of some sort that we are collectively trying to define. It is very interesting for me as I have not worked collaboratively in my art very much.
Class 43 locomotive No. 43192 arrives at Yatton station with the late-running 2U12, the 06:40 Penzance to Cardiff Central service on Saturday 30th October 2021. Sister locomotive No. 43122 was at the rear.
On this visit to Yatton I had the pleasure of the company of Stuart Warr and Invader1009, who had come here specifically to photograph this train.
California Sea lions form large groups, called a colony when out of the water. These colonies are quite noisy and it seem animals are always scuffling about.

I don't know the name of this small community but there weren't too many of them. More often we saw the occasional home or 2 or 3 homes together in this vast expanse.

This small rural community has a rather large old Church from around the year 1200, so as many other places, I guess this have been a larger community many years ago. I wonder about the silos, because under normal conditions, it is not allowed to build something tall or ugly close to a church, those silos are both tall and ugly, so I guess there must have been corruption involved here ! I like to do both documentations and historic photography, so things like this, I think is important for the future to be documented.
These are actually only about an inch in diameter--very small, but big enough to taste good when they ripen! The are coming along nicely in the local community garden.....
