Maligayang Pasko Po..

... to a care home. I've deliberately obscured the patient's face and the ambulance registration number.

I don't think enough people realise just how lucky they really are.

Here's a little bit more.

This surely is 'old fashioned princess tat'.

One of my favourites is the tea set represented here by the floral plate (bottom right) and the cup (middle left)

Hey guys, just wanted to tease you guys some Lego projects that are coming up in the future. One of these projects is going to be stupid and not even a thing a should even post about because it's going to be THAT easy, but the other one's going to be really cool and I can't wait to show you guys!

Life sometimes passes by so quickly that we forget to stop and put things into perspective. We forget to focus in on what is important. We need to remember that moments like these should be cherished, for they are rare and very special.

They're coming to take me away Ha Ha...They're coming to take me away ho ho he he ha ha...to the funny farm where life is beautiful all the time, and I'll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're coming to take me away ha ha!

Thanks to everyone who views this photo, adds a note, leaves a comment and of course BIG thanks to anyone who chooses to favourite my photo .... Thanks to you all!

When I drove back into my driveway yesterday morning, I noticed this daff and tulip cheek by jowl. One is just coming into bloom, and the other is already fading -- Coming and Going as it were.

After trying several shots with my tripod, I snapped this freehand almost as an afterthought, and I like it better than all of my tripod attempts. Go figure. Perhaps it is partly because I was focussed on the closer daff in my tripod efforts. Here I am also looking more from above than sideways.

My Grandmother, Ma, passed away 2 weeks ago aged 97..RIP my beloved Grandmother.

I've taken a 2 month break from Flickr after my father passed away. Times were sad and posting happy Paula pictures didn't feel genuine nor appropriate. Now I'm returning, still a bit sad but recovering and feeling much better than before. It's time to pick up life again, come outside and enjoy the things that make me happy.

In the past weeks I also stayed with my girl Tess at her cabin in the woods. Being together with her, in beautiful nature and making walks and cycling trips helped me to recover. It's also the place where we made this short video. It's nothing special, just me going outside into the garden dressed in my blue satin dress. It symbolizes my current state well though: coming out again, a bit cautiously maybe yet also happy to be girly in a pretty dress as always.

I'm back and will pick up my old habit of posting a series of pictures here on Flickr every weekend. So enjoy the video and see you again next week.

Our first Camellia Japonica Bloom of the season. This variety. of course, has a name but I just call it "Frilly" much to the consternation of the farm name brains. Have a Large Thursday and thanks for the visit.
