The old upright shopping bicycle
has the wrong saddle, a racing one,
more like an iron bar than a saddle.
I perch on one side or the other,
carrier-bags swinging from the handlebars
full of provisions for the weekend.
Itās hard work pedalling uphill in the rain,
But after a while I donāt seem to mind.
Nothing seems to matter any more.
As if from long custom, I hand over
the groceries at the kitchen window,
take off my shoes and go upstairs to change.
As I draw the bedroom curtains I see you
hurrying down the path with an umbrella
on your way to fetch a salad for dinner.
Just for you doubters, who secretly questioned whether or not I had travelled tomArizona at the start of March. lol City Hall in Casa Grande, is really a Casa Grande, if you know what I mean. A beautiful, SW style building, set in a lovely, landscaped area on the west end of town. I really should have gone in and seen if they had any tours. I don't know if the interior is modern office drab, or a SW style, like the exterior. This fountain/extra large birdbath in front of City Hall, is about 7 feet high, and has water coming out four spouts that seem to be oriented to the compass points.
A couple of eagles from the Eagle Watch event in Sheffield Mills, NS. Sorry thery aren's both in sharp focus..

The engineer of LI 556 pumps his fist as he flies into the Glen Head station with a schedule to keep. He's seated atop DE30 no. 423, a fan favorite for its unique history.
In actuality, it's former DM30 507, and its dual mode capabilities were stripped after an electrical cabinet failure. 423 is the only unit of its class to have undergone this procedure instead of meeting the scrapper.
April, possibly into May, soccersnyderi and I will be building and
publishing what will be our largest MOC.
Rarely do we make anything really big, so this should be fun.
Isaac and I will each construct three modules that will all
link together to make one pretty large MOC.
First I will be doing one, and from there we will alternate.
Our hope is that it will be our best build thus far.
Only time will tell though.
Looking forward to completing it.
So stay tuned!
Thanks Rose for sharing with us this wonderful Susa's story!! <3

While this is a beautiful bright sunny day and a beautiful blue sky it is not summer. If your browser is capable of blowing it up large enough you can see the man has a warm coat on.

F-16's from the 64th Aggressor Squadron return home to Nellis AFB after a Red Flag sortie. Red Flag 13-3.
I hope. Sadly enough, it is not set in stone.
Anyway, here“s to a new year of happyness, joy and celebration!
Project 365 // Day 243
Today I flew down to San Diego for a work assignment, and while driving around the downtown area, I was pleasantly surprised to see the Comic-Con 2011 banners already up. My face lit up with the biggest smile, knowing than in less than 30 days I will be attending Comic-Con. I have been going to this amazing convention for 4 years now, and it is the highlight of my summer. I am an avid toy collector (as you can probably tell if you follow my Project 365) so Comic-Con always presents me with the best opportunity to pick-up some really cool stuff, I can't wait!
