After a long absence away from Flickr, I'm pleased to say I'm back, although I'm pretty sure my photos aren't that popular on here :P To kick start my return, 881, A10 EYD is photographed heading towards the South Bay on seafront service 109, although I still can't help calling it the 'Corner Cafe'! 881 was new in 2001 to London Go Ahead subsidiary London General as their X579EGK. EYMS acquired her in late 2011 for Open top work in Scarborough, repainting her into this new and very bright 'sunshine' livery. Enjoy!
I shot this last night. I'm using it to present an idea to the owner of an insane Camaro race car for use on the side of it's trailer. Hope it's enough to portray the idea =)
Cheers

The Illinois Railway brings a buttload of sand back to the Oregon yard for some fun on the beach. GP35 3500 is former Southern Pacific 6619 and was caught rolling off of BNSF's C&I Line and of course has long been replaced by less appealing leased motive power.
Here's another photo of fun on a vintage Ski-doo snowmobile. My neighbor restored several of these and they are obviously a good ride.
We had to get up at 4 AM to see this but it was well worth. The colors under the first sun rays were reall coming to life. Sunrise at Hopi Point on the South Rim.

And to think I left 23C/75F weather in Florida for this : )
woman leading cows to or from pasture? they were wearing lovely, woven muzzles - presumably to keep them from eating until they were supposed to.
It's been a while since I've seen a loaded CSX coal train. This eastbound train is approaching in Berea, Ohio
This region in northern Mississippi is known as the "Black Prairie" region for the dark color of the soil.
In addition to re-watching this gem of Canadian television, my wife (Lucie Filteau) and I decided that this would be a fun Lego building project during the 2020 lockdown.
A lot of photos of this ambitious project are to follow in the run-up to the Emmy awards on Sep 20. Deservedly, Schitt's Creek has been nominated for no less than 15 Emmy's!
We built the Motel, Cafe Tropical, and Rose Apothecary complete with removable detailed interiors. We carefully chose minifigs to represent the entire cast as well as the Rose's 1978 Lincoln and of course the famous Welcome sign!
