Got a wondeful sunrise at Elie this morning but think this is my favourite from the shoot. After the clouds had rolled in and the tide was rushing up. Experimenting with the white border - thoughts?

In just a couple days "STYLE II" pre-landscape will be available! I'm so excited to be able to share this one with you as it's definitely one of my favorite landscapes yet!

I followed this Key Deer fawn into the woods. She or he kept checking to be sure I was following, pausing and looking and inviting. She or he lead me to mommy. No pics of that.

As I was leaving Fort Snelling State Park with my son this past weekend, some planes were coming in for a landing. It always fascinates me to watch these giant airplanes glide (loudly) right over our heads.

Ah, that spotless, brand new metal on the ceiling- very satisfying.
As is always the case, the feeling had changed dramatically from when we first entered the cavernous space. When you don't know if there are security guards, if there are cameras about to point right at you... it can be very nerve-wracking. When you've completely explored a place though, that anxiety really calms down. I was strutting around the place as if I was meant to be there. Fertive shots taken from hidden corners had by now become an exercise in being as obvious as I could be, standing right out in the open.

Waxwings are now arriving in good numbers in Scotland and eastern counties of England.Hopefully they will find their way westwards and visit Lancashire.It is a number of years now since they were last here .The images are from one of their previous visits to Preston.A wonderful visitor from Scandinavia and one that gives much pleasure to photographers and birdwatchers alike.So fingers crossed !!
