El otoño es mirar llover tras la ventana, es escuchar el crujir de las hojas bajo tus pies, es sentir el frío de la mañana que te rocía la cara. El otoño es un comienzo, una ilusión, es despojarse del ruido del verano y encogerse en el silencio para crecer ... el otoño es un estado, mi vida, y es lo bello que tú quieras que sea.

Hoy ha comenzado oficialmente el otoño. Pero yo, yo llevo otoñándome desde el mes de Diciembre. Ya lo sabe él ... siempre me llega con tres estaciones de retraso.

The eastbound Empire Builder was a little late on this morning, which ensured a properly lit scene as they prepare to head into the Commercial Yard at St. Anthony.
. . . My first attempt at Hummingbirds with the new Nikon turned out fairly well. If this bird had been in the sunshine, it would of been a different shot altogether! I was pleased I almost froze the wings too! Yaa Me!!

Yes very soon indeed, only a few days actually .... then on the 31st of October Halloween, it will be released from it's cage to unleash mayhem, don't really want this vampire with it's ugly teeth knocking on your door do you?
Well it's actually a little toy set of wind up vampire chattering teeth.
Photographed against some green crocs with a torch illuminating the holes, and hopefully adding to the overall scary effects.

Out my coffin I do creep,
on Halloween to reap, reap, reap.
I've got rows of big white teeth,
soon you'll need a big old wreath.
I'll spring up, suck your neck, guzzle, guzzle every speck.
Please don't worry I'll soon be gone, till next year, bye' bye' so long.

"Chatter of the chew-chew"
I've got vampire teeth that chatter when I come, I'm after the red stuff know what I mean .... got some ???
When I'm fully wound my teeth really chomp, but I'm after blood not a cosy little romp.
When my spring is spent my little vampire is still, but wind I up again I'm sure to give 'em thrill.

I love watching the immature Purple Gallinules, gangly with the big yellow feet and crazy colored feathers. They don't seem to be afraid of anything !
