Christmas is coming to town soon, so I got to try out my new Lensbaby Composer on some of the decorations. This is the first time I used a lensbaby, but it seems pretty fun so far!
Seaplane activity in these parts is relentless but they do provide so many great photo opportunities!

Cherbury Street, Hoxton. Hackney Council has knocked down some estate garages and plans to build new flats in their place.
Since I took this shot, someone has added quotation marks around the word "soon".
This wave was not my friend. I took the bullet for my camera a couple of times this night, but this wave got the best of me.

Quando sono uscita dal reparto psichiatrico di Foligno nel 2014, non ho detto a tutti che avevo tentato il suicidio.
Cosicché forse non ho elaborato abbastanza il lutto della mia maltentata dipartita, e ancora adesso sono arrabbiata con molti, quasi come se tutto quanto successo non fosse opera solamente mia. Sarà il caso di ragionarci sopra.
When I left the Foligno psychiatric ward in 2014, I didn't tell everyone that I had attempted suicide.
So perhaps I haven't mourned my ill-fated passing enough, and even now I'm angry with many, almost as if everything that happened wasn't my fault alone. It will be time to think about it.

Good morning an a Happy New Year to you all.
Here is another image from my time at Paignton Beach on New Years Eve. An approching storm made for some nice cloud formations adding a bit of drama to the sky and the sun made a very brief appearance. A freshening wind helped create some motion to the outgoing tide too.
