Traveling barge near Nitro, Point Pinole

In life's reflection, we glance,

Through moments of song and dance.

With laughter we thrive,

In shadows we strive,

Each step, a unique, cosmic trance!

There's been a couple of sunny days and now, Storms expected!

Pear blossoms are one of my favourites. The buds are out and the blossoms will be here soon.

The background in this photo is the result of blue sky filtering through the bare branches of the tree and the square aperture of the lens. Instead of a pattern of bokeh balls, it makes bokeh squares.I thought it made an interesting natural abstract pattern.

View of Skadar (Shkodër) lake, taken from the Montenegro side across to the snowy Albanian Alps in early March from a very scenic but very narrow road, butt cheeks definitely tighten when there is a car coming from the opposite direction.

Reminiscent of many a WWII scene, B-17 Flying Fortress 'Sally B' returns to earth after her evocative display at the 2016 RNAS Yeovilton Air Day.

She's been delighting us for over 40 years now since first arriving in the UK back in 1975. Let's hope she remains that way.

Yeats made a prophecy in this poem over 100 years ago after World War I

....sadly our world is headed in this direction.

"Turning and turning in the widening gyre

The falcon cannot hear the falconer;

Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;

Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,

The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere

The ceremony of innocence is drowned;

The best lack all conviction, while the worst

Are full of passionate intensity.

Surely some revelation is at hand;

Surely the Second Coming is at hand.

The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out

When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi

Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert

A shape with lion body and the head of a man,

A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,

Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it

Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.

The darkness drops again; but now I know

That twenty centuries of stony sleep

Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,

And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,

Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?"

Happy to see Wahclella Falls again after the trail was re-opened on August this year after 2 years closure due to Eagle Creek Fire (Sep 2017).

There are still a lot of trees and vegetation recovering after the fire but Nature is still beautiful and it's showing it off like these Falls.

Thanks to all that work hard to make this trail ready again for us.
