Bombardier (Brugge & Wakefield) Class 222 "Voyager" 4-car dmu No.220 001 (ex-"Somerset Voyager") of Arriva Cross Country but in AXC-branded Virgin Cross Country livery at Reading on a Southampton - Birmingham New St service, 12/07.

Class 379 Electrostar at Cambridge March 2013. This is the front of a 12 car train (3x4 units) which is split here, the first 4-car unit going onto Kings Lynn and the rear 2x4 units terminating from London Liverpool Street and Stanstead airport and going off to the stabling yard overnight.
hey were built at Bombardier's Derby plant, where the first unit was unveiled on 13 October 2010. The Class 379 units feature airconditioned, wifi, 2+2 seating in standard class and 2+1 seating in first class. Large luggage racks are provided as befits an airport service. They are more comfortable and quieter than the other units used on the route.
September 21, 2013 Diaconate Seán Cardinal O'Malley, OFM Cap ordained 12 men as permanent deacons at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross today. The members of the Diaconate Class of 2013 are: Joseph Flocco, Bill Proulx, Kevin P. Martin Jr., John J. Burkly, John Beagan, William M. Jackson, Matthew Baltier, Paul Coletti, John Barry, Dick Cussen, Tim Donohue and Joseph Harrington. A packed Cathedral of the Holy Cross witnessed today's ceremony.

One of my first ever train photos. As a kid we always had all our holidays in the west highlands which usually involved a few days out and about on the type 2s. Not sure which 27 it was or even if we caught this train on this occasion. Happy days.

Elements of the 56th Rescue Squadron, which is based out of RAF Lakenheath, England, embarked aboard Ponce to provide search and rescue coverage for pilots enforcing the no-fly zone over Libya. Ponce is part of Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group, supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
