I am one that likes to keep Christmas around for as long as possible. I can't bring myself to take everything down yet. It will probably be decorated for quite a while.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Tis the Season

10 Days till Christmas

Every winter we set a vase on our dining room table and watch an amaryllis flower emerge from a ugly, boring bulb. These amaryllis flowers were in the garden at the Bellagio at the base of a giant ornament.

CHRISTMAS PARTY DEC. 28, 2016

The Christmas tree provided a good opportunity to test out the higher ISOs on the MarkII. Slower shutter speeds and kids do not mix so it is nice to crank things up a bit on for situations like this.

Here's the Christmas and New Year's card prepared for the 2009.

Just a group of 5 pictures from the year and live in Dubai put together over a picture of the desert and some tricks to make them look as if they are printed pictures on top of the background.

We hope you had some wonderful holidays and that 2010 is an amazing year for all

It's Christmas in Wellington and the pohutukawa trees are in full bloom for the occasion.

Not a great picture of my dog, lol. But this was taken with my brand new camera!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Someone decorated this sport utility vehicle - either a Nissan Pathfinder or an Infiniti Q56 - and drove down Fifth Avenue in it to mark the holidays. It bore dtuffed animals and images of Santa Claus, and music from the Beach Boys's Christmas album wafted from a speaker on the truck.

The people on the sidewalk seem very enthralled with it.

Brampton gets ready for Christmas 2022

Brampton, Cumbria

Brampton is a small market town, civil parish and electoral ward within the City of Carlisle district of Cumbria, England, about 9 miles (14 km) east of Carlisle and 2 miles (3.2 km) south of Hadrian's Wall. Historically part of Cumberland, it is situated off the A69 road which bypasses it. Brampton railway station, on the Newcastle and Carlisle Railway, is about a mile outside the town, near the hamlet of Milton.

St Martin's Church is famous as the only church designed by the Pre-Raphaelite architect Philip Webb, and contains one of the most exquisite sets of stained glass windows designed by Sir Edward Burne-Jones, and executed in the William Morris studio.

The town was founded in the 7th century as an Anglian settlement.

Brampton was granted a Market Charter in 1252 by King Henry III, and became a market town as a result.

During the Jacobite rising of 1745, Charles Edward Stuart stayed in the town for one night, marked by a plaque on the wall of the building (a shoe shop) currently occupying the location; here he received the Mayor of Carlisle who had been summoned to Brampton to surrender the city to the Young Pretender. The Capon Tree Monument, to the south of the town centre, commemorates the 1746 hanging of six Jacobites from the branches of the Capon Tree, Brampton's hitherto traditional trysting place.

In 1817 the Earl of Carlisle built the octagonal Moot Hall, which is in the centre of Brampton and houses the Tourist Information Centre. It replaced a 1648 building which was once used by Oliver Cromwell to house prisoners.

Much of Brampton consists of historic buildings built of the local red sandstone.

This place went nuts and had 20 Christmas trees and homemade Christmas candy to sample. Everything was decked out with lights, even the carriage house.

Manor House, designed by John Edmund Oldaker Pridmore and completed in 1908. It is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Christmas lights at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO.

Red& sparkly - it must be Christmas!

Our Christmas tree made out of squares of felt sewn together, decorated with ornaments purchased at the dollar store, with the exception of the pewter cat and pewter wolf I bought at this year's One Of A Kind Craft Show.

Then pinned to the wall for the Christmas season.

When Christmas is over I will unpin the ornaments and roll up the tree. They will remain safe and sound in a plastic box until next year.
