(Photo by Terri Cossey) The "Christmas Tree" prop is used to simulate a large LP Gas fire. Flames from this prop are impressive and can reach 40 to 50 feet high. To successfully master this evolution, a team of five firefighters must advance two hose lines within 2-3 feet of the tree and turn a valve to simulate turning off the flow of gas.
Christmas lunch in New York. Visit to Rockefeller Center, Fifth Avenue, and lunch at the Top of the Sixes, 666 Fifth Ave.
I visited the Birmingham Christmas market recently. It was the last day it was open and it was very busy. The volume of people added to the general christmassy hustle and bussle of the market and it was great fun, the sights, tastes and sounds made for a feast for the senses. Merry Christmas to all!
Many houses are decorated at Christmas, but there are a couple of homes not far from ours that are regionally famous for the extent of their Christmas lights and decorations!
this is actually 3 pictures "stitched" together. I still have alot to learn. I have many Villiage sets. I'll take pictures as I decorate more!

The higher the hair the closer to God - and what better time to have big hair than Christmas!
This Christmas season has been crazy. I haven't had a moment to myself.
But since it's all about Christmas - I love it!

One Year Ago Today If it were only like this again!
Every year Cass and I buy one new ornament for the tree, and this year it's Priscilla The Christmas Pig. Happy Holidays to you and yours.
For Christmas in 1996 or 1997, I received a cement goose. This goose is still in my front garden today, although I have not dressed it up since at least 2000. In the 1990s, I always dressed the goose like this during the Christmas season. In the summer, the goose wore a bathing suit. I don't think that I have the goose costumes anymore, although I still put a small witch hat on the goose in October for Halloween every year.
Handmade Christmas wreath. Materials used: eco grass, baked apple slices, cinnamon sticks, straw and red ribbon.
Evan and Elsa, dancing in front of the tree on Christmas morning. I think Carmen encouraged them to do it.
This woven paper christmas heart, saying the words "merry christmas" in Danish, is made by my friend Gaute as a present for me.
Need I say, that this one is going to be a clasic on the trees to come? I have never seen such intricate heart - the strips of paper are TWO MILLIMETRES wide...
I admire his skill and not least his patience... and I will be taking extra care of this extra special heart!

We had a rare snow / ice storm in North Texas last December which gave me a rare opportunity to take a few photos in some white stuff. These are a few of the images I captured that day. I hope you enjoy them - and I wish you a Very Merry Christmas Season.
Our Christmas tree has moved a bit this year. I wish everyone in the Flickr universe a joyous Christmas season (or whatever holiday, or holidays you celebrate)!
Merry Christmas to my contacts on Flickr!
I'm travelling and need to figure out how to hook onto the wireless; I'm borrowing my father's computer currently. This is a stylized Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer with the symbol for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation for his nose. CBC owns this animated feature.
Anyways, have a great one!
