I guess today is "where the hell did I take that photo?" day for me. This roll has a few pictures of ruins at the start, the rest is Newspaper Rock State Park. So I'm guessing it's in the Monticello/Bluff area.

Please don't hate me, Dinky purists. THis one cost one pound in a box of bits, and as I already have a mint boxed example, this got to be a star in the new Butler's landing short story series.

Not an easy church to find at first, being set back from the road masked by trees and houses, SS Peter & Paul's at Butler's Marston sits in an attractively secluded churchyard with it's golden brown 15th century tower and paler nave and south aisle (under a single sweeping roof). Much of it was rebuilt by the Victorians, but the three bay transitional Norman south arcade survives within.
Of 15 churches I visited this day this was the first I found locked without keyholder info (Chadshunt at least had that, Walton I got to after 6pm which may have made a difference!, Getting into all but two out of 15 churches on a single crawl in Warwickshire is no mean feat!). For the interior I had to make do with glimpses through various side windows.

This is an animated butler we had on our porch. One of the things he says is "Come in, the master has been waiting for you!" The trick or treaters love him! He also moves his head and eyes and his chest goes up and down when he breathes hard!

This Craftsman-blend, hillside walkout home plan has European and Old World influence found throughout. The vaulted great room opens out to a covered porch with skylights, while the unique angled dining room accesses a screened porch with views all around this home plan. The open kitchen has room for multiple chefs to work and a walk-in pantry for plenty of storage in this home plan. A mudroom greets you by the garage, and a separate utility room includes a sink and counter space. The lower level includes a rec room and two bedrooms - each with their own bathroom to round out this home plan. *Photographed home may have been modified from the original construction documents.* www.dongardner.com/house-plan/1320-D/the-butler-ridge

I found myself watching Will Butler A LOT during the Arcade Fire Set at Bonnaroo 2011. He seems to have an endless amount of energy.
A brisk jog up the beach after finishing the quarter mile swim. As one of the last people in for the last heat, and a slow swimmer, all of the spectators had already moved to a different viewing position. I am the man in the red suit, with no goggles and no glasses, hoping I'm jogging in the correct direction.
