Sacred Heart Church
Mrs. Butler long term organist (30s, 40s 50s and into the 60s.
That is the adult choir which was a very prodigious calling back then.
She did such a wonderful job on the old Latin Solemn High Mass which was all song and chant. Photo from the early 40s. Dig those crazy hats.

Then enlisted in the Rifle Brigade at Aldershot, 18th September 1900 aged 18
