Butler's Landing is the english seaside town where Maggie Butler holidayed in my little stories.
Now there are some short stories planned, I thought maybe it could be built in a small scale. These are in progress shots.

A single room in one of the caves with a small entrance. The roof is black with soot from fires in the cave.
Looking east down the 12c nave under a low pitched 17c roof . The south arcade pillars are c 1175 when a narrow south aisle was first added, later widened in 14c when the chancel was rebuilt to the present dimensions. The chancel arch was rebuilt c 1868 during years of restoration.
The chancel screen was dedicated in 1934 as a memorial to Albert Percy Dodd, vicar from 1890-1901 - Church of St Peter & St Paul, Butlers Marston, Warwickshire
Butler Cove and majority of Butler Head are owned by the City of Bath. This cove includes Wild Rice growing along the shore. Here you are looking north up to the Kennebec, just east of where Merrymeeting Bay enters the river. Butler Head is to the left.

Candidate for the Fair Queen started to gather for a photo, it was opening day for the Butler County Fair and sunday was packed with Jr. Fair and 4H animal shows from rabbits to horse, the Fair runs all week, the last event is Saturday, July 30

Butler's Wharf was built between 1871 and 1873 as a shipping wharf and warehouse complex, accommodating goods unloaded from ships using the port of London. It contained what was reputedly the largest tea warehouse in the world. During the 20th century, Butler's Wharf and other warehouses in the area fell into disuse.
From 1975-78 the artists' space at 2B Butler's Wharf was a key venue for early UK video art and performance art, used among others by Derek Jarman.
Since the 1980s Butler's Wharf has been transformed from a derelict site into luxury flats with restaurants and shops on the ground floor. Terence Conran owns several of the restaurants, which include Butler's Wharf Chop House, Pont de la Tour and Cantina del Ponte.

For our last hike of the trip we drove out through Comb Wash and did the half mile walk to the Butler Wash ruins and natural bridge. Since we'd gone there to do a little exploring as well, we kept going and went all the way to the top of Comb Ridge.
