The seventeenth and early eighteenth century saw a revolution in farm buildings. An increase in prosperity made it possible to convert drafty wooden barns into sturdy stone built structures for animal shelter and crop storage. This landscape demonstrates the shift from wood to stone.
Ba Na Hills resort is located nearly 1,500 meters above sea level and roughly half an hour west of the central Vietnamese city of Da Nang.
Ba Na Hills resort was discovered by the French in the late nineteenth century. They have built here many large villas, sports grounds and a range of restaurants. For nearly a century, war and time have made this place gradually desolate. Yet, since the end of the twentieth century, Ba Na Hills has been woken up with the efforts of local authorities and people there. This scenic area is being upgraded and expanded.

New York City - March 26, 2023: Man in a green body suit crossing the street at Prince Street and Wooster Street in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City.
The first fortification on this site was built in 1368. Years later it was enlarged and became a splendid ducal palace, which was then practically completely destroyed during the Golden Ambrosian Republic. The Sforza family reconstructed the castle and made it into one of the most magnificent residences in Italy. Years later, the castle was used once more as a fortification under the Spanish and Austrian domination. Napoleon ordered the demolition of the castle in 1800 and a year later the Spanish bastions and towers were destroyed. During the second half of the nineteenth century the population was torn between keeping the Castle or destroying it to build a residential neighbourhood. However, the castle remained and the architect Luca Beltrami was instructed to renovate the castle, restoring it as it was when the Sforza family resided in it. The restoration was completed in 1905 and the central tower (Torre Filarete) and the were inaugurated. The park was built on the former parade grounds. During World War II the castle was severely damaged. At the end of the twentieth century the Castle square was built with a fountain in the centre. However, in the sixties it was destroyed when the Milan Metro was built. In 2005, the restoration of the Cortile della Ghirlanda and the halls of the castle were completed.

Причина этих сходств заключается в следующем: главную башню Сфорцеско проектировал Антонио Филарете. Этот архитектор одно время работал с другим известным итальянским мастером — Аристотелем Фиораванти. Именно Фиораванти был автором проекта Кремля в Москве.
Situated on the eastern slopes of the Pollino, Civita is a hill town and comune in the province of Cosenza.
Castrum Sancti Salvatoris, ancient city of Cossa, was destroyed by an earthquake in 1456 and re-founded under the name of Civita in 1471 by Albanian refugees.
The town is part of the Pollino National Park, not far from Frascineto and Eianina, and among Italy's Albanian historic communities (Arbëreshë) as officially recognized by the Italian law.
The Herengracht canal is considered to be the most important canal in Amsterdam. In the 17th century, the richest merchants, the mayors and the most influential regents of the city resided on this canal. An address on the Herengracht canal is still considered to be prestigious. Even Amsterdam's mayor's official residence is on this canal at 502. I made this image at the intersection of Herengracht and Leliegracht canals, as the bridges were light and the colors of the sky at dusk hadn't yet faded away into the night.

According to one of the legends it was founded in 891. Originally it belonged to the Constantinopolitan Patriarchate. The first record of the monastery dates back to 1578. From 1778 (the Christians’ outcome from Crimea) to 1794 the monastery does not function. From 1806 it becomes the base monastery for the Black Sea Fleet hieromonachs. New temples are built: 1816 — the Great Martyr George Temple, 1850 — the Exaltation of the Cross Temple, 1893 — the Cave Church of the Nativity of Christ. The monastery is closed in 1929. It was revived in 1994. In 2000 there started the building of the Great Martyr George Temple, ruined in 1927.
