This triple arch monuments is erected in the center of the Cinquantenaire park in Brussels. This monumental triumphal arch was built in 1905 on the initiative of King Leopold II for the glorification of the independence of Belgium.

The construction of Osaka Castle (大阪城, Ōsakajō) started in 1583 on the former site of the Ishiyama Honganji Temple, which had been destroyed by Oda Nobunaga thirteen years earlier. Toyotomi Hideyoshi intended the castle to become the center of a new, unified Japan under Toyotomi rule. It was the largest castle at the time.
If you look up, you can see the great contrast between the white façades of the houses and the bright blue sky that stretches over the island of Mallorca on this summer's day. And the Mallorcan sun didn't miss the chance to sneak into the picture either.

I photographed the Grand Place in Brussels after a rainy day. Two or three leaves were lying on the edge of the puddle. An asian couple were reflected in the puddle.
This is a 30s long exposure shot of the Harbour Authority building in Antwerpen, Belgium. The top extension to the building was designed by Zaha Hadid. I used the Canon 17mm TS-E lens.
The Toorji Ka Jhalra was constructed in the 1740s by the queen-consort of Maharaja Abhay Singh, and features detailed sandstone carvings. Notably, the Jodhpur Stepwell had been buried for years and only recently underwent a restoration to return it to its former glory. The primary function of the structure was to provide a reliable water source during the dry seasons. It also served as a communal gathering point and still does.

The monastery with the beautiful cloister towers high above the city of Neuchâtel.
Even if the ascent is steep and a little arduous, you will be rewarded with the monastery, the castle and a wonderful view of the city of Neuchâtel and the lake.
Unfortunately the church is currently being renovated. But as soon as it shines in new splendor, it is definitely worth a visit as well.

Who does not know it....in the morning just after sunrise or in the evening just before sunset, the sun bathes everything in a warm, soft light....quite rightly the golden hour.
Lyon also showed its best side on this balmy spring evening at the golden hour. The houses along the banks of the Rhone shine in the warm colors of the setting sun and the sky was carefully decorated by Mother Nature with a few little clouds.

The Hyakken roka corridor, or the long corridor in Himeji Castle complex. It includes the 240-meter long corridor with maids' rooms and a room used by princess Sen, the eldest daughter of the shōgun Tokugawa Hidetada.

The Gherkin, officially 30 St Mary Axe and previously known as the Swiss Re Building, is a commercial skyscraper in London's primary financial district, the City of London.
The Staircase
La escalera, subir o bajar por ella es un privilegio en sí mismo.
The ladder, going up or down it is a privilege in itself.
Inicialmente se denominaba Puerta de Piedrahíta o de Ávila. Hasta que en el siglo XVI ocurrió el hecho que hizo cambiar su nombre. Fue ahorcado en ella un alcalde bastante impopular. Desde entonces se la llama la Puerta del Ahorcado.
Edificio gótico, construido en piedra en el siglo XIV. podemos distinguir tres partes: La cabecera, un pequeño edículo poco profundo, construido en sillarejo y cubierto con bóveda de arista, a continuación, un recinto cuadrado, cubierto con cúpula sobre pechinas; el tramo de los pies, edificado en sillería, tiene una planta cuadrada cubierta con bóveda de crucería. Se accede por una portada resguardada por un pórtico con columnas toscanas y techumbre de madera. La espadaña, a los pies, está construida en ladrillo y tiene un solo cuerpo.
