A breakfast at the guesthouse we stayed in Kandy.
The host’s wife cooked delicious curries for us.
The weather was not so good but the scenery was beautiful from the balcony.
The Swans come for breakfast every day. This Cobb is very gentle, unlike the Pen, who can’t tell the difference between food and fingers, the cygnets now fully grown and almost white, just snatch at anything that moves, usually me! I hope they nest close by!
At breakfast on the terrace the wasps get their own plate. This allows us to enjoy breakfast in peace. ☀️

This was my typical breakfast in the hotel in Amsterdam - I would always choose a hard boiled egg, croissant, pain au chocolate and some fruit!

Pumpkin loves being a part of meals. When I start setting the table (for breakfast especially) he doesn’t so much get excited as assume he’s invited. He doesn’t expect any food, or try to eat while we’re eating, he’s just always really enjoyed being included. It’s adorable. (Also, I’ve just noticed that Tom and I have picked sides of the table to sit on without realizing it. I usually sit on the right and he the left.)
