for years now Saturday mornings are taken up with a run through the park followed by breakfast where we solve all the world's problems. (better large + on black)
My usual breakfast is weetabix with non dairy milk, topped with chia seeds, a variety of fruit and live natural yoghurt.

Mother drinks tea the English way with sugar and cream -- a British Hong Kong legacy. And I drink milk like a child ;D
I'd forgotten that our Banff tour hotel included a complimentary breakfast. So after mother and I both woke up early, we went out for a walk in search of breakfast instead of to the hotel restaurant.
The day was supposed to be rainy, so we were pleasantly surprised that the morning was sunny-blue-skies. We ended up in a Canadian coffee chain called the "Second Cup" to have breakfast. The error (of forgetting that we could have had breakfast for free) was a serendipity, as spending our final morning in Banff exploring the beautiful town certainly beats staying inside the hotel.

I had a breakfast in my hotel room at first morning. Toast, cereal, and coffee. Just ordinary but very expensive and boring. I got out of the hotel at second morning, jumped in a local canteen. Little bit dirty but very cheap and exciting w/full of life, and I always can't stop loving toast with butter &condensed milk and HK style milk tea :)
At We’re Here! the day’s challenge is to capture some Biscuits.
I guess there is more than one idea of what a “biscuit” actually is – but in my mind it can only mean baking powder biscuits. My plan was to go out for breakfast, but when the time came I really felt like staying in. So, where to get some biscuits?
I knew I had baking powder – but no flour. I threw all my flour out when I moved. Then I remembered I recently bought some almond meal “flour” especially for a recipe I’m going to try, and so I checked online to see if it is possible to make a biscuit with that – and, voilà!
I guess this falls into the “paleo” craze, which I assume will pass into oblivion soon with a thousand other diet ideas, but it worked for me for breakfast. They taste a bit different than the traditional delicacy -- more moist and a very slight "nut" flavor. I like them! And I have snacks for the week
While having breakfast outside at a brightly colored table, I took some closeups of the table. Yep, got a few strange looks.
It's always a pain to wake up early in the morning to shot the sunrise, but you can rest assure that it is always worth it. These two were having breakfast while we were shooting the hills from the wind farm in Frosolone (Molise) Italy

We stayed over at a friends house over the weekend, and this is their little visitor who comes to have some breakfast.
Bumblebee arriving for breakfast. Note the orange pollen sacks on her hind legs. Looks like this is not the first place she's visiting.
Some film shots for a Friday... Nothing like waking (safely) up to a fire to accompany breakfast while camping. Image on the Mogollon Rim, near Payson, AZ with Eximus Wide and Slim plastic camera and cross-processed Lomography XPRO film.
Underneath pink orchid petals.
Today these pink orchids stopped me in my tracks! Also at the Front Desk they were in a pot which towered over me! I've never seen orchids like this before ~ from so far below! Almost as if, like Marilyn Monroe, their skirts had blown up! Such a funny peculiar point of view! I'm showing you five images, my friends ~ these are the final three...
