While trying to prepare my breakfast at 7:30 am, who should appear in the driveway but this bobcat. After a desperate hunt for a camera, I finally managed to fire off five shots through an open window before the cat disappeared into the bush. This is the best of the bunch.

We had breakfast at The Starving Artist in Ocean Grove on Saturday. I brought my Leica R4 loaded with Harman Phoenix II, my first roll of it. Developed and scanned today. It’s interesting. Shadows still fall apart abysmally, and the dynamic range is limited, although better than the first version. But when you have a proper scene, the colors can be gorgeous. Still pretty grainy for a 200 speed film, but easier to handle. Shot at EI 125, developed in ECN-2 chemistry.

This was my breakfast today. I haven't made it in ages and thought it was about time to have it again. It's one of my favourite morning meals! It is very easy to make and I broiled it in my Convection Toaster Oven to get the Egg Whites browned.

... this morning! We are without a dining table at the moment - the one we had ordered was cancelled due to an error by John Lewis! So we are back to meals on our laps LOL. A fave breakfast for me is blueberries and cornflakes with a nice cup of coffee. Today it was Oatibix with raspberries and a few luscious cherries on the side plus a big mug of coffee to wake me up.

Hope you are all enjoying the weekend however far you have travelled in it. We have sun and showers again today - the garden loves it! - a tad windy at the moment tho'! xxx
