This little guy was having breakfast from the humming bird feeder we have hanging off the deck. The saying "a watched pot never boils" is equivalent to "a watched humming bird feeder never attracts humming birds." They would only show up when I loose interest in pointing the camera at them.
We had breakfast at Cafe V, and it was really nice. Until somebody started dropping something on us and our food from a balcony above. That's when we headed indoors.
This is my recent breakfast @ home: roasted tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, grilled bread and some drizzle of herb oil... Delicious!
Breakfast at the Fat Dog. I was sad that everything got piled on the toast, because eating the toast with jelly at the end of the meal is my favorite part.

This community celebration honors outstanding “Community Champions” who have gone above and beyond to make their environment a better place, GCYC volunteers, and of course, the spirit of Dr. King. Breakfast will be catered by the youth in our GCYC culinary program, and the event will feature performances and special guest speakers including keynote Kai EL’Zabar, Executive Editor of the Chicago Defender.
