Itwari Junction to Nagbhir Junction is one of the few narrow gauge lines reamainig in Indian Railways. Total of 106 kms through the rural India. Having travelled in trains in broad gauge section which touches 110 - 120 Kmph, travelling in a train which has a maximum speed of 40 Kmph was a different experience . Total journey time was four and half hours. Started at 6.00 AM from Itwari Jn and reached Nagbhir Jn bang on time by 10.30 AM. Interestingly, there was a breakfast halt at Kuhi station too. Hope to do the same stretch again sometime in summer before narrow gauges vanishes into history
I've taken to eating my breakfast outside in the garden. It's so pretty and spring-y, and apparently it's really good for your mood/sleep cycles to get light in the morning. My breakfast consisted of baked beans on multigrain toast and vanilla roobois with soy milk! Nom nom!
Lovely breakfast at Starbucks in EastPoint Mall, Simei.

No hurry...no clock..!!
Home baked bread with goat cheese, jammie......
Waiting for breakfast at the Lime Kiln Cafe, Roche Harbor, WA. October is a good time to stay at the marina there - not too crowded. I didn't know the woman, but she had a very nice hat. I almost never take shots of people - I don’t enjoy having my picture taken so am reluctant to photo others. But if they aren’t identifiable, it’s ok, right? :-)
~ breakfast for lunch {and many more pictures!} it was... while sunbathing in the apartment, celebrating every moment & saying nice & happy good byes to this place, much as it deserves it.

Bella apologises for the motion blur & the lack of food in her bowl - but she’d had to WAIT while I took photos so breakfast was very late.
It is only four below zero this morning - so rather than rustle up a hearty but labor-intensive meal - Doc and I decided on something quick. Maple flavored oatmeal, with fresh fruit on the side. At mid-morning we did have our usual French Vanilla coffee with a sweet pastry, so we are good until lunch.
For the 52 in 2020 challenge - No 41: "A meal I have made". Porridge with blueberry sauce, yogurt and homemade granola topping with fresh blueberries. Not that I usually have breakfast laid out on a tray but my usual mode doesn't look well!
I may have been half awake when this breakfast was set before me - but I was bright eyed and bushy tailed when I finished it, and ready to go out in search of photo-ops along the Alaskan Highway.
Mushroom and sausage omelet with cheddar cheese, baked beans, fresh tomato, coffee, juice.
This is one of the Fiestaware colors that I'm not really happy that I bought. I'm trying to learn to love it, so am trying it with different tablecloths. The other place setting was the Shamrock green, which looked really nice next to this blue, so maybe there is hope!

Yesterday sitting and having breakfast and watching the birds. Seeing a few we have no clue. We look in the bird book and sometimes we get them right but most of the time I have to write my favorite bird girlfriend and she helps us out. Which we really appreciate Eileen!! :)
"He'd noticed that sex bore some resemblance to cookery: it fascinated people, they sometimes bought books full of complicated recipes and interesting pictures, and sometimes when they were really hungry they created vast banquets in their imagination - but at the end of the day they'd settle quite happily for egg and chips. If it was well done and maybe had a slice of tomato."
- Terry Pratchett
For someone who does not like to cook, I sure as hell spend a lot of time cooking
The key words being "not like", not "can't"
And when my girl is home for the summer, she texts me after her run, "mom, whats for breakfast? I'm hungry!"
So my days off are spent cooking for her
And funny thing, both the kids love to eat at home, and think I'm the best cook that ever lived....ma babies ;)
Now if only I loved to cook :)))))
Haha...we managed to survive ;))
I was getting ready to make some omelettes and decided to do a fun pic today :D
Hope breakfast was great
And lunch is delicious
And as for dinner.....well....hope its...ahem.... well done ;)
Have a great day
And thank you so very much, for all your support
Love
