Ode to Richard Wintle

Goofing off in the studio with some left-over christmas lights and a Macro 100mm lens.

Basic setup was a piece of black foam core on a model stand. I placed a sheet of acetate on the board and extended over the back edge so it bent away. Christmas lights (fairy lights if you are Australian) were suspended from an armature anywhere from 5-10 back. Everything was in front of a black back drop. One constant light source above on camera right. Severely flagged so not to get spillover. Handheld flag used to keep light in a narrow column.

The object was a broken HDMI adapter i had laying around (not as cool as a vacuum tube).

Not the greatest of shots, but fun to play around for about an hour.
