I remember when I was a little kid I use to pick these up and toss them in the air and be amazed watching them twirl towards the ground.

5 foot Gopher Snake in Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area. Shot it for a good 5 minutes, and never got a tongue sticking out. Girlfriend pointed out that the 10' minimum focus distance on the Sigma Sports may have contributed; the snake wasn't aware I was even there, and had nothing it wanted to smell. Makes sense, I guess....
this is not what i was planning to do, it doesnt seem like anything i post on here has turned out how it was meant to. this was meant to be a gif, but my files are 'too big' and my computer's too old..
oh well, i'll work on it

Taken with Nikon F801s camera and Nikkor AF-D 50mm F1.8 lens, on expired Kodak Elite Chrome 100 film. 1/4000 shutter, wide-open at ƒ/1.8, ISO 100.
Scanned with Plustek OpticFilm 8100 scanner using VueScan 9.5.
