The beach was beautiful, today! ♥
Maybe I'm posting to many bokeh photos, lately, but I just can't help it... :-)
As per the discussion at Morty's regarding my Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D.
The lens produces extremely blocky bokeh at f2.8... at f1.8 (as in this shot) the bokeh is quite a bit better but still not circular.
(Also, judging by all the spots.. it looks like some part of my camera needs cleaning)

Calgary's already a winter wonderland - only two days in - and it just keeps snowing! It was pretty cold and I wasn't too interested in staying out too long, but of course I ended up staying and playing with both the shutter speed and the aperture (probably not great for my camera). I was pretty happy with how this turned out in the end - the final result is from automatically focusing on the bushes before switching to manual focus and turning on the flash. The flash was enough to illuminate the snowflakes and my DOF was shallow enough to bokeh the snowflakes at the varying distances. It helped that it was snowing so hard I think.....
