Bokeh effect from thousands of lights in the trees along Bellevue Way on March 13, 2021 in Bellevue, Washington, USA
The quality of a bokeh subjective. There is a similar image I posted few weeks ago made with a different lens. I think the rendering of this old Canon FD 28mm f/2.8 is interesting. Overall its pleasing.
This is part of a project to try my older SLR lenses, not so much for technical testing but to make interesting images and learn top cope with the limitations.. Some will call this a New Year resolution but I prefer the expression project.

Testing the TTartisan 100mm F2.8 Bubble Bokeh + Pixco speed booster M42 to M43. Take a photo of a wall with a big graffiti of a music instrument. This lens really pop bubbles out of texture!
This photo was taken for my photo project Photo A Day, where the idea is to show beautiful things that we often miss in every day life. More photos you can find here: www.facebook.com/PhotoADayByIrina
My first shot at what some call the Brenizer method. Stitched together 25 images shot with a shallow depth of field. Yields similar results to the depth of field possible with large format cameras.

This is my first true bokeh dot shot this year. I actually took three for last year's 365 project. I liked the way the dots project out from the centre as well as the colours.

Just chilling with my little Nephew Parker Timothy Koske while he is enjoying his first Christmas with the family.
Wanted to show people what bokeh was. Again, got to give props to Enc Photography for showing me all of his great photos of bokeh with Christmas lights. As soon as I saw the lights hit the shelves, I had to try some shots. Already have plans for red lights as soon as I get them.
For anyone who wants to know, all the lights are Christmas lights wrapped around my tripod, with my 50mm set to a wide aperture.
