Bokeh - This autumn leaf is caught in a spider web.

Autumn

Treppenviertel Blankenese, Schwarz-Weiss Fotowalk am 14.11.

Trying to grab a macro shot of some mini figures. The red circular object is not a pokeball but rather my wireless mouse (which happens to be red).

A little fun with the Christmas tree lights and bokeh

Bokeh Fun!

As defined by Wikipedia:

In photography, bokeh (Originally pron.: /ˈboʊkɛ/,[1] pron.: /ˈboʊkeɪ/ boh-kay — also sometimes heard as pron.: /ˈboʊkə/ boh-kə,[2] Japanese: [boke]) is the blur,[3][4] or the aesthetic quality of the blur,[5][6][7] in out-of-focus areas of an image. Bokeh has been defined as "the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light".[8] ...

Photographers sometimes deliberately use a shallow focus technique to create images with prominent out-of-focus regions.

Can anyone guess what I was capturing?

I tried a bunch of different light sources and stumbled upon a nice combination that seemed, to me at least, to resemble somewhat realsitic outdoor lighting.

This in actuallity was taken on my kitchen table in the dark with a single light source.

This is straight from the camera, enjoy.

Bokeh Wednesdays

obligatory bokeh christmas tree picture.

waiting to try the candied almonds & cashew nuts.

I do this every year, and then I use a picture like this in another picture as a layer ;)

Anyways, Happy December!

Bokeh Project

This was so easy to take, seeing as everywhere I turned there was lights surrounding the place! I felt like it wasn't even night when I snapped this.

Bokeh effect from thousands of lights in the trees along Bellevue Way on March 13, 2021 in Bellevue, Washington, USA

Bee shot from the Smokey Mountains. I really like the bokeh.
