My Christmas tree lights are not shaped like hearts. But, their bokeh is!

I've been on a baking binge lately. Since Christmas I've made these, Chewy Chocolate cookies, Hot Cocoa cookies, and 2 batches of Red Velvet Chocolate Chip cookies. I really need to stop. My waistline hates me right now.

...who doesn't love anything to do with Christmas?

This is the 33rd edition of my 52 weeks project of 2013. The theme this week is "bokeh," which is always a fun challenge to accomplish.

This week went by quickly. Sunday I had breakfast with my friends at Babystacks and then after I had research. After research I went to the gym and then after dinner I ran stairs. Monday I had work and after that was done I went the gym again. Later that night I went with Janie to go eat dinner at Cafe Zupa's which was really good. It was really nice seeing her after her trip to California. Tuesday I was off, but I had to go to a training which was quick. After that I met up with Janie at school to eat and relax before she had work. Then after I went to workout and slept early again. Wednesday I worked again and after all of that, I went to the monthly research meeting and saw some people I haven't in a while. Then I went to run stairs at my old high school. Thursday I worked again and got off a little early and just did my own thing the rest of the day because I had to wake up early the next day. Friday I worked at St. Rose De Lima which is super far from where I lived, so I went to work earlier than normal and had to train. The day wasn't that bad, but after that I went with Janie to our favorite sushi spot, Kaya Sushi. After that we both kind of just fell asleep. Saturday I ran a bunch of errands. I woke up early and went running, then got my oil change and tire rotation among other errands. After that I got some stuff for my car and then later went to lunch and more errands with my mom and my little brother Adam, who is leaving me to Reno. After I just ate dinner at home then went to get Shave Ice and Purple Penguin with Janie before knocking out. Here is to a good week, which I am excited for!

My Group Learning assignment this month is indoor photography and as it's Christmas season I did a little session trying to get some bokeh with the tree lights. This little ornament is one of my favourites, given to me a few years ago.

I used a tripod, 50mm lens, f/1.4, 1/5, iso 200, exp comp -0.33

That's my rope lights on my porch, wet with rain.

My first Bokeh shot. This was just random Christmas lights on a Christmas tree.

Just because I'm a sucker for bokeh and I can actually make some with my new camera haha.

I started my 365 again. This is day 1!

Not exactly the kind you see on the dinner table, but a close cousin.

If I remember correctly, this was the grave of some artist, a very modern statue with an unusual detail.

Fall bokeh with fall colors or ruska in finnish.

The thin like of focus on this section of bark seems to have a tiny face in it, about 2/3 of the way down.
