Happy Bokeh Wednesday and New Year's Eve.
I would like to thank you all for your kind comments during the year. I hope you all have a happy and creative New Year!
Day 3. Christmas lights and star-shaped lanterns popularly known to Filipinos as "parol". No Christmas can ever be complete without these two.
I think it looks better at the LightBox, press L.
I hope all are well on the East Coast. All is well in TX... more soon and thanks for your visits! Tony
Oh yes, I am officially a Steinway Artist now:
For this weeks 52 of 2014 I decided to bring Danbo out of his semi retirement for my weekly shot. Here he is trying to get some bokeh shots of his own.
The camera Danbo's using was a gift from a very good friend and it is in fact, a clock. The lights in the background were left over from this Christmas and also Christmas 2 years ago. They just never managed to find their way back in to the box of decorations.
SOOC and definitely better on black!
This is the medium format version of the exposure that I had made earlier on with the D7000. This photograph represents my growing up, from a toddler to a full grown man. Adulthood is still far away but the ride has been fun and I don't want it to stop. Shot with a Mamiya RZ67 + Sekor 110mm 2.8 and Kodak Ektar 100. Scanned with a Epson V500
this photo was inspired by a friend of mine who recently has been recovering from severe depression:)
