This is my first true bokeh dot shot this year. I actually took three for last year's 365 project. I liked the way the dots project out from the centre as well as the colours.

Just chilling with my little Nephew Parker Timothy Koske while he is enjoying his first Christmas with the family.
Wanted to show people what bokeh was. Again, got to give props to Enc Photography for showing me all of his great photos of bokeh with Christmas lights. As soon as I saw the lights hit the shelves, I had to try some shots. Already have plans for red lights as soon as I get them.
For anyone who wants to know, all the lights are Christmas lights wrapped around my tripod, with my 50mm set to a wide aperture.

...my sisters sweet little tiny tinsel tree...this is the "REAL" reason I wanted to have a "REAL" camera...for these shots....LOL!!!!

This little guy came running after me as I walked down a small side street. As soon as he reached me he tried to jump up into my arms. A real sweetie...
(Thank you all for your concern about.this little pup's well-being. He is with a very good family with responsible adults and 2 children. I'm certain he'll be loved and spoiled!)
Creatief fotograferen is altijd leuk, maar je hoeft natuurlijk niet aan het eind van de avond naar Emmerich te rijden om zo'n foto te maken ;) Dat was ook niet de aanleiding.
Ik wilde eigenlijk de RTB Rail Magazine 186 110 fotograferen in Arnhem. Het zou al donker zijn en de trein zou hier niet stoppen, maar door creatief te zijn met de belichtingsinstellingen en van statief te fotograferen dacht ik dat het misschien wel zou lukken. En anders gewoon een leuk fotografie-experiment. Ik miste echter de afslag waardoor ik later in Arnhem was dan gepland. Arnhem centrum is niet het meest logische centrum om door te rijden, maar na wat geslinger door de stad bij het station aangekomen. Ik had nog even tijd, maar ik kreeg mijn camera niet goed op de plaat van het statief. TIs nogal een log stevig ding en even snel wisselen lukte niet.
Op dat moment zag ik de prachtige loc al langsrijden, mooi om te zien, maar geen foto's! Hij was ook te vroeg! Toen besloten maar naar het volgende station te rijden, maar Zevenaar zou ik niet redden. Dan maar naar Emmerich, misschien zou hij daar nog wel even stilstaan, geen idee. Dus snel verder gereden, maar het werd tijd om te tanken. Gestopt bij een groot tankstation, maar uitgerekend bij dit tankstation kon je niet met pin betalen wanneer hij niet bemand was, dus op naar een volgend tankstation. Toen snel de snelweg op, maar nee de oprit was afgesloten! Terug naar de vorige oprit en toen alsnog naar Emmerich.
Maar in Emmerich besloot mn navigatie-app alvast te gaan slapen, dus ik moest zelf de weg vinden. Geen bordjes met Bahnhof, en te diep het centrum in gereden, na 20-weggetjes door het centrum uiteindelijk het station gevonden, 11 uur! En idd de trein was zeer waarschijnlijk al voorbij. Helaas! Naast oa de DB Gravita, HSL 1832 dambord, HUSA 189 met volledige bestickering, weer een loc op de lijst wel gezien maar geen foto's ;)
Bij een andere passerende goederentrein kwam ik erachter dat een scherpe foto maken in het donker toch niet zo makkelijk is. Een statief is iig niet handig, beter is het de foto onder te belichten, en de camera met de trein mee te bewegen. Een goede stationverlichting is wel belangrijk.
Gelukkig nog wel een paar andere leuke onderwerpen gevonden voor foto's.
