Trying to determine which of the 2 body height sensors on the Subaru have gone futt - the likely cause of the a warning from the headlight levelling system.
A resistance check yielded nothing useful, so I had to cut in to the wiring, power up the sensors to check the feedback voltages. This showed that the front senor is defective, so a step forward. Replacement sensors are available - dodgy new ones from China, used ones from Ebay or eye wateringly expensive new ones from specialist suppliers. I went for the middle option.
the end of season collection, I may post a few more later but this is the bulk of it. So until next Autumn I can put my fungi detector back in the box.
MAN FOUND DEAD.
The body of Mr. J. P. Boyle, watchmaker, of Onewa Road, Birkenhead, was found at his home by a neighbour about six o'clock last evening. Deceased had a gas tube in his mouth and had apparently been dead about 24 hours. He leaves a wife and three children who were absent from home yesterday.

GAS POISONING CASE.
At an inquest held yesterday into the death of John P. Boyle, watchmaker, of Onewa Road, Birkenhead, Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., coroner, returned a verdict that he committed suicide by gas poisoning. According to the evidence, Boyle was found dead at his home on Monday evening. He had recently been separated from his wife and family.

This work entitled «Body landscapes», has as theme the human body or the self through space, which is associated with the indoor environment.
Specifically it is capturing the central idea which started with the assumption that the man is the one, who by his presence and himself in general, gives life to the space, or by decorating and by placing several items in it, it manages to bring out a space.
But what happens when the roles are reversed; When the inanimate objects trying to get life inside an animate environment? These are the questions, that arise through the use of games, which are placed to the naked human body and refers to the natural environment.
Through the representations of the figures, which depict scenes from the wild, as well as battle scenes, is attempted to be given a realistic dimension to the subject and the objects to gain life on the human body that encloses them.
Finally, it is worth mentioning the inspiration and development of this project, which is the photographer Allan Teger. His work is called “Bodyscapes” and began in 1976.

Η συγκεκριμένη εργασία με τίτλο «Body landscapes», έχει ως θεματικό άξονα το ανθρώπινο σώμα ή τον εαυτό μέσα στο χώρο, ο οποίος σχετίζεται με το εσωτερικό περιβάλλον.
Πιο εμπεριστατωμένα, η σύλληψη της κεντρικής ιδέας ξεκίνησε με το σκεπτικό, ότι ο άνθρωπος είναι εκείνος, που είτε με την παρουσία του και τον εαυτό του γενικότερα, δίνει ζωή στον χώρο, είτε με την διακόσμηση και την τοποθέτηση διάφορων αντικειμένων μέσα σ’ αυτόν, καταφέρνει να αναδείξει έναν χώρο.
Ωστόσο, τι συμβαίνει, όταν οι ρόλοι αντιστρέφονται; Όταν τα άψυχα αντικείμενα προσπαθούν να πάρουν ζωή, μέσα σ΄ ένα έμψυχο περιβάλλον; Αυτά είναι τα ερωτήματα που τίθενται, μέσα από την χρήση παιχνιδιών-φιγούρων, που έχουν τοποθετηθεί πάνω σε γυμνό ανθρώπινο σώμα, το οποίο παραπέμπει στο φυσικό περιβάλλον.
Μέσα από τις αναπαραστάσεις των φιγούρων, οι οποίες απεικονίζουν σκηνές από την άγρια φύση, καθώς επίσης και πολεμικές σκηνές, γίνεται προσπάθεια να δοθεί μια ρεαλιστική διάσταση στο θέμα και τα αντικείμενα να αποκτήσουν ζωή, πάνω στο ανθρώπινο σώμα, που τα περικλείει.
Εν κατακλείδι, αξίζει να σημειωθεί η πηγή έμπνευσης και ανάπτυξης του συγκεκριμένου project, η οποία είναι ο φωτογράφος Allan Teger. Η δουλειά του ονομάζεται “Bodyscapes” και ξεκίνησε το 1976.

Whilst on holiday my boys and I went body boarding (again).
In the middle of autum? Yes.
Windy? Yes.
Cold? Yes
Fun? A great deal of.
The sun only came out one day, the wind was up so the spray and wave were spectacular - enjoyed being in them more that taking the pictures - to be in the spray and waves with the light as it was, was breath taking... or was it that I was breathless from the exertion?
This one was taken after he'd ridden a wave in and just stood up ready to get back out there, hence the water dripping from the board.

This was the last classic All American to be in service at Austintown. Retired at the end of the 2014-2015 school year. One of originally two 1983 All Americans once in Austintown's fleet. Austintown at one time had over 15 classic All Americans. This and another older bus, bus 38, were traded-in after they no longer could pass inspection without substantial body work.
