The models in this breathtaking scene are Peter and Whitney - both incredibly talented photographers as well! I am in Vancouver BC, and have been living a literal dream over the past weeks roadtripping across America and Canada. I have seen many wonders and captured so much beauty, and more importantly gained incredible friends that I will certainly miss until we meet again. Too much to even edit right now, but be looking forward to a lot of new stuff trickling in over the next months!
The skies tell a story when the day is so peaceful and calm. This July day was so warm but not hot and muggy like many can be in mid July. Blue Skies tell us pretty much that the air is calm and comfortable and not to muggy to enjoy being outdoors. Thanks for viewing my work. Gratitude and Kindness can be as comfortable and as delightful as a Summer day with beautiful Blue Skies.

Still not many butterflies around here at the moment so I was pleased to find a female Common Blue which I usually struggle to photograph.
This last one had the sun shinning directly down on it so hence the slight change in the colour and although blue is a cold colour I think the way the sun is beaming off the surface it really does warm it up.
The Mountain Bluebird is one of my favorite birds to photograph in the summer. Male taken north of Calgary, Alberta.
Many thanks for your visit and comments. They are very much appreciated.
There were so many bluebells that I couldn't help myself! I liked this shot as it was taken low down which gives a better idea of density.

We finally have enough snow to get snowshoes on the trail and it was a great way to enjoy a brisk winter day. Had to be careful, though - lot's of rocks, holes, and crevices in this area. Using hiking poles was often a must for testing deeper snow ahead. Blue side trail blazes (see one here?) were also much easier to follow as compared to the white version of the main trail, which were frequently difficult to see in the snowy trees. In fact, we missed a turn at one point and had to hunt around for it.
