Different colors shown just after the sunset - maybe a a rare seen with so much of blue on the sky while the sunset. Go Thulusdhoo (MALDIVES)

in Berkeley, where the mild weather gives it lots of help. This pretty blue plant is called Anchusa. It appears to be a member of the Borage family.

There's so much I don't know. Apparently this is a familiar garden plant in the US. Here's what the NC State extension service tells us. plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/anchusa-capensis/

Apparently, it can be invasive.

The Siberian blue robin, Luscinia cyane, is a small passerine bird that was formerly classified as a member of the thrush family, Turdidae, but is now more generally considered to belong to the Old World flycatcher family, Muscicapidae.

Scientific name: Luscinia cyane

Fora da ordem de relevância (not in the relevance order):

My digicam was stolen while it was loaned to a friend. Now, just in June I'm going to buy another. . . By now, old shots and eventually one or another took with friend's cam. . .

2. ): well. . . Shit happens! But let's forget about it, 'cause it isn't everything in life (:

3. É, só posso ter aquela terrible syndrome. . . Pela quarta vez? Só pode! :|

As all brazilian men who wants to live during and after 18 years I've to go the fscking compulsory enlistment in the army forces (no, that doesn't mean NECESSARILY that I'm going to join it, but I'm forced if I want to get a drive license, job or continue to study in peace. And de-fi-ni-te-ly it doesn't mean that I'm patriot or like or even respect the idea).

5. (bad news? somehow)

Just a thing about a "somehow descontinued" brazilian email service. . .

And that's all I've to say.

This last one had the sun shinning directly down on it so hence the slight change in the colour and although blue is a cold colour I think the way the sun is beaming off the surface it really does warm it up.

The Mountain Bluebird is one of my favorite birds to photograph in the summer. Male taken north of Calgary, Alberta.

Many thanks for your visit and comments. They are very much appreciated.

Found this fly on a almost dead lower on a cold morning

There were so many bluebells that I couldn't help myself! I liked this shot as it was taken low down which gives a better idea of density.

We finally have enough snow to get snowshoes on the trail and it was a great way to enjoy a brisk winter day. Had to be careful, though - lot's of rocks, holes, and crevices in this area. Using hiking poles was often a must for testing deeper snow ahead. Blue side trail blazes (see one here?) were also much easier to follow as compared to the white version of the main trail, which were frequently difficult to see in the snowy trees. In fact, we missed a turn at one point and had to hunt around for it.

Happy Blue-keh Wednesday!

Thanks again for all your best wishes for the kiddos. The Princess had a good first day back at school yesterday though the whole experience has given her the notion she can wake up and decide whether or not she wants to go to school that day.

And yes I will get checked out too. In fact today is my annual physical so the doc can poke and probe and YUCK. I'm actually quite happy to go today as my sore throat is worsening. But probably it is just a virus with no real treatment except time.

Have a great day and HBW! Looking forward to no longer talking about illness :-)
