This was given to me as a gift back around my Birthday. Obviously they knew exactly what I liked :) I haven't quite used it yet because I will use it during my longer days of classes which have not come about yet - but in the future it will be used, however I just hope it lasts me quite some time since I find it beautiful.

I work at a stable, and my equine co-workers were eying my bento box when I was on my break XD
so I started making boxes of treats for them. mind you, this is barely a nibble for one horse, let alone all the others, but they still love me for it!
My lunch is ready for tomorrow! Despite the fact that I work with food/make food/serve food all day it's always nice to bring things from home.
Steph has a "red rooster" made with a grape tomato, nori eyes, carrot comb, and lemon peel beak, held in by a little bit of spaghetti.
Turkey Balls - from last time. Ding and they're done. I have lots of little balls in the freezer...
Onigiri - I have new letter punches hence so many cats. the whiskers are made form a "b" with a bit of cutting. I also got an "n" for the eyes and a "y" which makes great antlers. The filling is pork meat soboro. I didnt drain the sauce off properly that why this neko has a bit of brown on its face! But it makes it look "or-fen-tick" (authentic)
Spinach - Everyone needs to do the Popeye and ate their greens. Its so simple to make! Just finley chopp it all up, then blanch quickly before a stir-fry with garlic, sesame oil, sesame seeds and mirin. Stores for ages and you can even use it as stuffing for onigiri. Just be prepared for some faces going green ^^
I got 3 new things to add to my Bento Tools. I got a new bento. It's much like two eithers I have except the difference in design and colors. The little mouse sitting atop the bento is a Oshiburi (Face/Hand Towel) carrier and inside is a small towel. The other item is the collection of cutouts. :) I can't wait to use them.
All my favourite food in my new Shinkansen bento box.....:) As usual, I am a bit greedy and cooked too much food. Had a hard time trying to squeeze all into the mini bento box....*lol* Hope i will not zzzz after this lunch....:p
This is the actual Bento Box that I'm going to use for lunch. It holds 580ml which is perfect for my age, height, and activity level according to Japanese eating guidelines. Traditionally the box should hold 3 parts grains, 1 part protein, and 2 parts veggies. I got all this great info from the best Bento site on the web

Of course knowing me I'll probably be way heavier on the veggies and a little less on the grains and what about fruit?!?! I gotta have fruit!
newest mini-bento! a bff's mom got it as a party favour 4 the little sis's party! yay! a new free bento!

this is going to be one fantastic picnic quilt. loved making these.
she wanted quarter bento box with a little scrappy mixed in. so fun!
you know how sometimes you hear about something and just have to have one? yeah. two hours ago i'd never even heard of the things. thank you, super H mart. you may also notice that we have a new 50mm f1.8 lens :D
I ran out of rice. Original plan was 11 riceballs with various pipe images... but the drums took more rice than I was expecting so the bento ended up as an eleven pipe organ.
Each pipe is made with tuna corn and mayo with lettuce, rolled in a piece of bread.
There is a nori musical note and outlet to show that its a pipe. A salad with cherry tomatoes and frittata 11 and star cheese....
I think Michelle took this, but it was my 20th birthday and I got a really neat bento box themed cake. David made sushi rolls made of orange cake and fondant.
