So, on 1/25/09, we went to an absolutely lovely party in honor of Scottish poet Robert Burns. Our host had made some incredibly delicious food and we were lucky enough to score some of it to take home. We even had enough to do 2 bentos for the next day! Here's what's inside:

1. Shortbread of amazingness (made with lavender oil and rosemary)

2. 2 "Tiffa" - English tea sandwiches, except here done on mini bagels (brilliantly yummy) and super simple...just cream chees and cucumber slices

3. Potato Leek Stew - it may look awful, but goodness it was amazing! the stew had potatoes and leeks, of course, and also a yummy wheat protein substitute that seemed rather chickeny. overall this was one of my favorite bentos yet!

All VEGAN too!

My lunch is ready for tomorrow! Despite the fact that I work with food/make food/serve food all day it's always nice to bring things from home.
