I used this sketch:
The page is about one of the "high"lights of our family vacation: indoor skydiving. The Turbulence paper from BG's Wander reminded me of the wind tunnel we were in for the flying exercises. After a couple of tries, we sorta got the hang of it; I even went up about 10-12 feet in the air. SO fun!
The sketch was perfect, because I wanted to fit in a bunch of photos, and most of these were taken from the other side of a glass partition, so the quality wasn't so hot...so I made them smaller (besides which, what an awful glare from my picture of the layout itself - sorry!).
Everything here is BG Wander, and I cut the title letters from my Silhouette.
TFL,
Cynthia

Love this fun sentiment from the Everyday Sayings set. Paired with woolies by BasicGrey (Olivia Collection). Lots of layers underneath. Clear embossed on white paper and then layered on faded jeans distress ink. Also stamped Large Open Flower and Solid Flower on top.
Added machine stitching and sentiment strip together with woolies to finish.
Thanks for peeking, Deirdre

These were inspired by Kristina Werner. I loved the one she had on her blog. She put transparency in her circle. I decided to forgo the transparency and put a scallop to highlight the flowers inside.
They are for my cousins baby shower. I like to give thank you cards so it's one less thing the mom to be has to worry about.
the flowers inside were stamped with 2 different colors and then I painted them with Shimerz....if you haven't used this product I urge you to go find some...this stuff rocks! :)
HA stamps setCL184 thoughtful messages was used. Flower stamps are Magenta and all paper is Basic Grey. Love those 6x6 packs.
Quilting was supposed to be 'wavy lines' like the simple squares quilt-along quilt at Fat Quarterly and some of Lee of Freshly Pieced's work, but for whatever reason my 'wavy' no matter how I messed with the machine settings would just come out zig-zaggy. Oh well....it works fairly well with the ric-rac and it's a lot better than any of the other 'free motion' techniques I've tried. {grin}
