What: A youth basketball camp that includes lectures, drill stations, 5-on-5 games, contests, and education sessions.

Campers Receive: Lunch, T-shirt, pictures with Corey, awards, and instruction from some of the top coaches in the region.
first, you can see that it's not all that straight (thanks, mom and dad).
but the main problem is the one vertebrae that's kinda outsized by its neighbors. in the grand scheme of things, i was very, very lucky this wasn't worse. then again, it IS worse than it used to be, because of a moment of stupidity on my part.
heilein was right: there's no cure for stupidity, and no appeal.
Tendaba, Gambia. This is typical of what the Gambia gives you. We were on an early morning boat trip to look for the elusive Finfoot. As we rounded a bend in the river, we saw this impressive Pink backed Pelican standing studiously on the bank not ten feet from our boat. And that's Gambia in a nutshell. There's a potential surprise around every corner.
Looking back at this picture, I'm half-expecting to see the missiles fly out.

1920's hand-crocheted silk lace outfit. the dress which is calf length with an overskirt gathered onto a low waistband and ruched on one side to form an asymmetrical hem was crocheted from silk thread, then dip dyed by hand to create an ombre effect on both the skirt and the dress before joining the pieces and adding the crocheted flowers. the cocoon jacket was also ombre dyed to match. the purse was made of coordinating cotton thread and hand beaded. a partial wig with finger waves and full fashioned stockings complete the ensemble.
