My big girl is going back to school on Wednesday. Second grade is going to be so much fun!! She is so smart I just can't believe it. And seriously, can you believe this little beauty is only 7?!
I asked her last week if she was excited to go back. She said "yes". I asked what she was most excited about and she said to see her friends again, and math. . . she LOVES math! lol Silly kiddo!
Finally gotten around to taking a photo for studiodreamplanet.. He said the logo was too small on the front, and I said the back has a bigger one. I just realised it's still a bit blur and the wordings are not legible. Kinda a shame...

Finally Back. I am so completely consumed by reading these days that I hardly do any photography. I think thats the only excuse for lacking in creativity :(
I have been looking for Unaccustomed Earth but have had no luck so far. Meanwhile, I am captivated by Three Cups of Tea. I am sure many of you have already read it but those who havent, I strongly urge you to pick it up! You will be humbled and inspired by the resolve of Greg Mortenson :)
I have been so homesick that I decided to explore Urdu Literature and I am HOOKED! Manto's Toba Tek Singh, Mumtaz Mufti's Samay Ka Bandhan are masterpieces that I hadnt heard of before. Ditto for Kaffan by Premchand. But if you must read just one, dont miss Shahab Saab's Maanji! Pls DO recommend any authors/works that i should pick up.

Lance: Shut up! We don't want to offend him.
Ace lowers his M4 and Shakes Owen's hand. Saber-tooth does as well.
Saber-tooth:Great to meet you Owen. I'm Saber-tooth, this is Ace, and the two behind us are named Lance and Dawg. Now that everyone is on a first name basis, Scimitar has taken over the city and they have the support from their other fighters in Iraq and Syria as well as elements in Russia. With that being said, I think that our best plan of action is to get to the desert and get to a forward operating base. From there we can create a plan of attack. Let's roll!
